When the time comes, I would rather give things to people who would enjoy them and not resell them. I have done that and it has brought me joy knowing they were going to a good home.
It's possible it's not a reseller with that 125 BUT it's also possible it's a reseller. Could of possibly been a legit collector and assumed you just want to off load your collection and seeing the low listed price it doesn't hurt to ask you can decline. But what you said also very true.
I'm not selling my collection but I thought of the idea of mystery boxes as a way of bulk unloading it if I decided. Maybe long term plan part time booth to sell as a hobby. Who knows. But resellers who act like the most vampirc pawn shop on legs.... No.
I was selling 10 PS5 games at one point, they cost just above $300 total, a guy sends me an offer to buy all of them for $100... I never answered him, hoping he is expecting an answer, but I wish I told him to get back to me in a week and then I'd say, nah...
Sounds like you became self aware and noticed the games really aren't used anymore. Keeps the games you love and want to play some day and just get rid of those fillers. Use the money for games you will play or other cool stuff you'd think you'd enjoy more!
