Hydroquinone for 2 months, stop it for 3 months. So during those 2 months of using, can we use it on alternate days just to avoid the chances of the side effect
hello. thank you for the video, i wanted to ask, can i use hydroquinone on a pigmented scar which is close to the eye, side part of the nose? thank you
Wow! Great breakdown. Thank you. My melasma is genetic- and I tried Fraxel: bam, new spot ! Finally about to try hydroquinone- and might then transition to cysteameane after
Hi everyone. First of all, THANK YOU for great content! Very informative.❤ I hope you dont mind some questions. I'm currently using Hydroquinone 2% and Tretinoin. Been using them only for a month now without serious side effect. Started slow. Do you think I can use Hydroquinone 2% with Copper Peptide? I read an article about Hydroquinone oxidation by Copper, it didn't say anything about Copper peptide though.
Ok I always love these videos with Dr. Claire but just her comments about EWG need to be a clip on TikTok... I have been trying to say this to people but she, of course, is explains it with so much more expertise!
Hi how bout hydroquinone for hyperpigmentation sun blemishes on vitiligo patients..? How would it be administered to create an even skin tone? And will it go away for good or reoccur?
So helpful! I’ve been using it for almost three months after my co2 laser because I was getting hyperpigmentation. I’m most definitely stopping now and taking a break. My derm did say only take for three months but I wasn’t sure how long of break should take. Thank you.
Hi I used hydroquinone , tretinoin and fludocortison for 2 weeks from Gp and my skin was clear from all pigment , but 2 weeks after used my skin even tripple times darker and noticed pigment spred even verse than it was. After a month Dermatologist prescribed 4% hydroquinone , dexamethasone and tretinoin . Now I am using since 2 weeks , looks clear skin, but after 3 months does my skin gets darker. I am so worried. Please reply
Hi! I have been using hydroquinone 4% every night for a month and a half and my melasma looks darker, is it normal? I wear sunscreen religiously and avoid the sun completely.
Hi! I kept going with the hydroquinone and eventually my melasma started getting litghter, after 3 months of daily use, I reduced the frecuence of application: 4 times a week, 3 times a week, twice a week, once a week and stop. So by the final of the fourth month I stopped completely. Never never never stop Hydroquinine cold turkey, it could lead to rebound hyperpigmentation.
My doctor just prescribed me 12% I am really nervous. Glad I find your video. Thanks

Thank you! Is it safe to use on the knees and legs to target pigmentation? Would the same rules apply?

Excellent topic. Can you please tell me the name of the ISDIN product mentioned in the video?
Thank you! It's Isdin Melaclear Advanced!

I'm also wondering about creating an even skin tone?
Should you leave the cream on face all night?
can l moisturiser before applying it?
sure!
Thank you! Just started hydroquinone and skin is red. Should i discontinue or do you think it will fade?
redness is normal at the beginning! keep going, your skin will acclimate :)
Im getting mixed messages about how to use it. Full face or spot treatment? Thank you!
Massage it only into your melasma unless your doctor tells you otherwise!

So glad this was helpful! Yes, never more than 3 months - then take a break for a few months - repeat. xx

I used for 6 months. how long I have to take a break to use it agian?
You should not use HQ for longer than 3 months! 3 Months tops, then take a break for a few months, repeat.
Just started using Hydroquinone 4%. (July) Why would it be a waste to start in the summer?
Not recommended to use HQ in the summer, not a good mix with the sun! Always best to start HQ and laser treatments in the fall!
How to use it?
I’m using HQ 4% for brightens my skin. Is it safe for 3 months ?
Yes but you have to stop after that and take a break
Is it safe to use hydroquinone with Tretinoin?
It is! You just have to acclimate to your HQ alone first for a few weeks before adding your Tret back into your routine.
4% hydroquinone cream safe breastfeed moms safe
My dr says that it’s not safe
Hydroquinone is banned in EU. I don’t think people should risk their skin for that. Resorcin is a similar thing but safer.
Thank you ❤ you're helping lot of people 🤍
Thank you so much
