    Looks amazing ❤️
    Would it need a preservative due to wet hands scooping it out?
    Or does the foaming base already have a preservative in?

    • @SoapSchoolUK
      @SoapSchoolUK  2 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Hi Tracey, it does already have a preservative in. It works really well with a shower scrunchy too and creates tonnes of foam so could be great in a shower or the bath

    • @SoapSchoolUK
      @SoapSchoolUK  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You can absolutely add one yourself if you prefer. The manufacturer Stephensons personal care says it does not require one in normal use but many people do add one.

    What can I use in place of the crystal foam butter

    • @SoapSchoolUK
      @SoapSchoolUK  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Any similar foaming bath butter base or both whip base will work for this. If you cannot get the Stephensons version other companies sell similar options such as Wholesale Supplies Plus etc. www.wholesalesuppliesplus.com/products/foaming-bath-whip.aspx

    If you were to use preservative what would be the mesurement to use ?

    • @SoapSchoolUK
      @SoapSchoolUK  ปีที่แล้ว

      I would follow the recommended guidelines for the preservative. Some are at 1% whilst others at only 0.1% so it is important to check what they recommend. you can usually find the details on the suppliers website

    instead of sing sugar, can you use himalayan salt?

    • @SoapSchoolUK
      @SoapSchoolUK  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Some of the bases work with salt but some go really waxy and have a nasty feel as the salt affects the emulsifiers. You could test them though :)

      The manufacturer Stephensons says it is not required as there is very little water in the formulation. The base product has been sold for around 20 years so it's had plenty of testing
