    Girl! You did not! This coordinates with the watermelon lip scrub you made earlier! I just got all of the ingredients in yesterday to try it myself. In the meantime, I've been having a time trying to balance the mica in a watermelon non-emulsified sugar scrub. The color has been clinging to my skin and rubbing off on my towels. I'll simply take your measurements and calculate it to fit into my formula. The timing of this video couldn't be better! You are wonderful! Thank you so much for all that you do!

    I tried the formulation today as my first .after following you for a month , but with some tweaks depending on my ingredients stash , and it's just perfect ♥️ it exfoliates beautifully and turns into a thin lotion once you rinse it off leaving the skin super moisturized thank you for sharing these beautiful formulations youre a nice person ❤️
    - I used a mix of unfractionated coconut oil and almond oil insted of fractionated coconut and watermelon
    - btms50 as emulsfier ( i bought it because you always praised its effect on the skin )
    - cetyl alcohol only because i only have it
    The consistency is obviously different but still a beautiful end results . Thank you ❤️

    I was so happy to see this recipe, that I had to make this two days ago!! I will let it sit until tomorrow to check how it behaves, but i must say it looks really nice so far! I used a different fragrance, but kept entire recipe + I added 1 gram of preservative (i made a batch of 200grams)
    Thank you so much for sharing this lovely scrubby scrub, can't wait to try it tomorrow!
    You look lovely, by the way

    'Ve been love DIY-ing since graduated as graphic designer. I thought drawing is my passion but I enjoy making diy stuff more lol. And I read your blog ever since, 2017. I rarely buy commercial stuff anymore, and doesn't even need lotion because of how moisturising the scrub from your recipe is. I add more complex oil into the scrub like olive oil and almond oil. It's amazing, thank you ❤ and I wish I can buy your book, but I wonder if you sell it oversea? Cause I live in southeast asia

    What kind of emulsfying wax NF ?is it special NF

    • @persephonespomegranate
      @persephonespomegranate 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Ayesha Shah I can answer for you! That’s actually the full name of the wax - it’ll be labelled as “Emlusifying Wax NF”. I’m assuming the “NF” stands for National Formulary but I don’t actually know. So, I sort of answered your qstn 😬 😆
      I know it’s a blend of cetearyl alcohol and polysorbate 60. You may know all this already but if not: It’s what will make the scrub emulsify with the water so it rinses clean off of your skin and the oils go down the drain so it doesn’t leave that nasty ‘ring around the tub’ and create a slippery bath surface that van be dangerous.
      Marie listed Polawax as a good alternative if you can’t access Emulsifying Wax NF. I know her viewers are from all over the world and so your local formulating retailers may sell different products. I think it’s a pretty common wax though. That said, I actually don’t own it myself! I just use Polawax for this type of thing.

      In addition to what Persephone’s Pomegranate said (which is all correct), look it up in the Humblebee & Me DIY Encyclopedia (www.humblebeeandme.com/diy-encyclopedia/) to learn more!

      Hi! The ingredients are safe. I use this stuff on myself and give it to my loved ones-I wouldn't use carcinogens in my skincare any more than I would put poison in my dinner.
