    It's crazy how some small businesses don't like to share this type of content. Thank you for your help ❤

    • @rebeccafionacornel6558
      @rebeccafionacornel6558 ปีที่แล้ว +30

      i agree with you but well.... most of the small businesses just don't want to lose their customers and the little extra income they make.... i mean, if everyone made the things everyone loves do you seriously think that anyone will want to buy something they know that they can easily make at home? i mean, even making a hot dog from the hot dog bread to even the sausage or what ever you want to put in your hot dog bread can just be made at home but we choose to either buy the whole hot dog from the hot dog stand than make it at home or we just buy the hot dog bread from a store and then we make our own filling at home........ but if you see this example logically, it's just much easier to buy something like a whole hot dog with all the fillings even if you can make it for yourself plus you are not wasting time or extra money by just buying a freshly made hot dog from the hot dog stand..... and also most small businesses don't want to give their trade secrets because someone else can then claim that recipe as their own..... and also, if you see, these small businesses are mainly started to earn some extra income along with their regular 9 to 5 job..... So, imagine that you are a single mum, and you have to not just feed yourself but your kids.... you would have to earn enough income to not just pay your bills but also your kids' school and college fees and other things.... so, how are you going to do all that working a 9 to 5 job and then give your secret recipes that you formulate to people who are willing to just copy all your ingredients? i am not a mum nor do i have kids nor do i have a job of any kind since i quit my degree college education due to sever depression and nervous breakdown, but i guess that these small businesses have their reasons for not doing so, but i mainly think that sometimes not all the people who have small businesses can truly even get enough income from a 9 to 5 job...... it's lucky if they get a job to even pay them something to start with...... and it's even better if that same 9 to 5 job pays them a high salary and good colleagues with good and healthy work ethics to even start their small business..... but if you get a job and you know that the colleagues and the work ethics are terrible and you know that you don't have a choice, do you seriously think that you would be willing to share your recipes with others even if it means that you will be losing the little income you get out of your small business? the people who share their recipes normally do it mostly out of good will and also though these videos do earn them some income, it's not much for people who really have no money to spend on themselves or on their family....... so i think that though you are right in some ways, it's not all that simple at times to do such things as sharing something you come up with...... because not all people who look at the recipes will just do it for themselves or their families and friends, they could sell that same recipe under a different name, and this could get you and your small business into big unwanted trouble....

    Love this! You explained it so clearly!! Can you swap out Mango butter to Shea butter? Cause I don’t want it to have a mango scent cause I want to choose what my scent is?! How can I do that?!

    • @ReneeBarnettTV
      @ReneeBarnettTV  2 ปีที่แล้ว +16

      Mango butter doesn’t smell like mangos it doesn’t really have a scent. But you can use any other plant butter you like and add what ever fragrance you like ☺️

    Hi, just wondering how long you had to whip the base? And when you rinse the scrub off does your skin stay moisturized?

    • @ReneeBarnettTV
      @ReneeBarnettTV  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I think maybe 10 minutes. You have to monitor the texture of the product as its being emulsified with ur blender thats what really tells u if its ready or not.

      Preservatives is necessary for the including water recipes. It's for preventing the bacterial reproduction. This recipe contains only oils 🙏🌸

      Hi! The general rule is no more than 1% to 2% of total weight of the final product, i stick to the lower percentage, just do your research on essential oils they can be tricky as some are not the best for the skin 🤓

      Butters and coconut oil tends to do that, unless the chemical properties are changed. How would this hold up in a cold climate. Eg. NY during winter months.
