I'm gonna try to mix my gel with some Dip powder since Dip powder is just finely ground acrylic powder. That way I can use up my dips (I gave up on the Dip method) to color the gel and see what I come up with! Thanks for the experiment! Cheers

Hi, what about the acrylic power which, without monomer liquid, does not catalyse? In my opinion, this is quite dangerous to mix chemicals...`the consequence may be allergy or even chemical burning.
Not sure but from the look of the products it looks like she uses Japanese gels. Japanese gels are very very high quality. Most polygels are made in large batches usually at a Chinese lab. Japanese gels are made in small batches in Japan with higher quality ingredients and are better for nails. Even the acrylic powder in Japan is higher quality so maybe she is wanting to use her same high quality gel but just thicker. That’s the only reason i could see maybe for her doing this because it’s true it’s easier to just use polygel and it will work better than doing all this mixing

It's not a secret, that's an old technique- and it's not polygel. You can't store it, it will go gummy like and stringy the longer they're mixed.
Why not just use polygel. Problem solved
