Taken from Buniatishvili’s concerts in Tel Aviv on 4th and 6th July 2015. Filmed in 4k ultra HD and Dolby Atmos.

This was an old but new music. Old because it’s thrilling like the music by Berlin P.O. with Furtwangler. New because it’s the lightest Beethoven I’ve ever heard. 1st and 2nd were so beautiful and sweet, but I felt 3rd is too rapid. This were the best music for me if 3rd was a little bit slower. I do appreciate this channel and the orchestra for giving us an opportunity to listen to such excellent music.

Ein excellente Darbietung von Beethoven´s Konzert. Unter dieser Leitung von Zubin Metha mit seinem Orchester und dem Weltstar Khatia Buniatishvili ist das nicht zu toppen.

Man, she can make that piano get up and walk and talk. I bet when she walks into a Steinway store the pianos kneel down and worship her.
Noch um einiges besser ist die Version mit Marin Alsop, die leider nur noch fragmentarisch im Netz ist.
(Zum Glück hab ich sie mir vor etwa 3 Jahren noch runtergehen können. Ein Traum !)

Enlevé de mai de maitre le concerto n°1 de "Ludwig Van "par une pianiste magistrale de musicalité et de fougue dans son interprétation de la partition..!
