Streaming games is the future, not that its the best way to play, but its the cheapest way for companies to get games to buyers
TheGamer is so funny to pick on, but it’s also scary that the channel has so much support for it. TheGamer is a perfect example of just saying random nonsense and presenting it in a highly professional manner to get people to believe you, and it WORKS. Look at Colt Eastwood. He has so much more support than Crapgamer or JayTech because he speak with conviction and is a great editor.

By the way, this term comes from a study made by a 14 year old in which he managed to get 43 out of 50 votes in favor of banning dihydrogen monoxide (H2O aka water) because it “could result in asphyxiation and accelerated corrosion”.
For the last 10 years i have heard THE FUTURE IS MOBILE RESTANCE IS FUTILE!!!! from corporations but really mobile games only exist because a lot of less fortunate people can't get a pc or console mobile gaming is terrible because of in game ads and game streaming is also a abomination that was created by investors who don't even play games.
Stadia completely blew up on the runway before even taking off when the had no way of letting you play games you already own. Why in tf do I have to pay for games I already bought on PC? Geforce Now at least lets me log into launchers and play games I already own. XCloud lets you play games you already own that are part of the service or all of the game pass games. You can also stream any game you have on your console as well, except that is a bit in the works still as you can only do that when both your console and phone are on wifi.

Mobile gaming isn't a "Revolution" its mostly a closed ecosystem where literally no freedoms are allowed.... Kinda reminds me of that ideology with the hammer and sickle... and that one fat Jewish guy who lived off his rich German Friend that his first name was Karl..... last name was with a M.

The Gamer is spinning this so hard, he may have a future in politics.
Firstly, mobile gaming is trash, sure, I have a Sudoku app on my phone, but that is more akin to a crossword puzzle, rather than gaming, and even then I rarely open it, heck, I watch youtube on my 720p tablet, instead of my 1440p phone, because it doesn't matter how good your eyesight is, a phone sized screen isn't really suitable for much in the way of media, at home I have a big TV and my PC(and tablet obviously), and if I am out and about, I don't have time to be fiddling with my bloody phone for more than maybe a quick game of sudoku.
6:23 They just want even more control over it, so they can literately charge you a monthly fee to even access your gaming library, first they charge you for accessing online multiplayer, then they charge you to even play at all, on top of that microtransactions by the boatloads for games you don't even have basic control over, that is the end game, the big publishers wet dream.
And people will just accept it if it is forced, like the xbox/ps/switch users did with paid online.
So even ignoring the glaring latency issues of streaming your input over the internet, I won't touch these services because of the above, same reason I haven't touched the paid multiplayer, despite owning a 360 back in the day, and a Switch now.
10:07 Pokemon GO was trash, "oh look I can walk around to catch pokemon, and pay real money for pokeballs", you will never change my mind on this, the only pokemon games worth playing are the main line games, pokemon stadium, mystery dungeon, and maybe detective pikachu(dunno never played it), Pokemon GO had very little going for it other than forcing people out into the streets, I don't think you could even battle, it was literately a pokeball tossing simulator, and a great way for them to collect boatloads of cash from whales, not sure how it changed, or if it did change.
But one of the biggest glaring issues with Pokemon GO, is something all these streaming services and other mobile "location based" games suffer from, if you don't live in a big city, they are literately non-functional. What I mean by this, is in Pokemon GO, where I live, there was 0 wild pokemon, there was literately nothing to do for me, so I had to rely on other peoples experiences to even know anything about the "game", and yes, even going into town, there was still no pokemon, or anything else.
13:53 Touch screen controls are terrible. I am going to play on this tiny screen, and in addition, I am going to cover half the screen with my thumbs so I can touch the on-screen controls, what a brilliant idea!
