I never thought of this before, but you're so right! I remember as a kid having such a connection to the LEGO Agents theme because of the characters and I used to make up stories with them. When the polybag of the LC Undercover game came out, I was determined to get the figure!
I've been writing a multiverse story of a lot of my favorite Lego themes coming together and Chase McCain is the main character, mainly because my sister and I always loved Lego City undercover and we put him in all our games 😄
Honestly, for me Chase McCain is more iconic than Johnny Thunder as a Lego character. I remember saving up my allowance for weeks to get the helicopter set he came in. Lego City Undercover is one of the best Lego games ever
I remember playing lego city undercover as a kid and couldn't even beat the game since i was terrible but aside from that chase mccain is one of the best lego characters since emmet brickowski
Absolutely! thanks for sharing your thoughts, Mayo. it's cool we have a character like this that appeared so (somewhat) recent in the 21st century unlike most iconic non-licensed lego minifigures
We all wondered why Lego City doesn't have a common hero. Memorable who knows. Remind us. 🤔👏😉. Or to remain memorable in the hearts of the cities. Because the word Lego City or the Lego City theme. It is a concept. Not a man. It represents the concept of. To view the life of the city on a small scale. In other words. Citizens go to various jobs. Police, firefighters, paramedics, coast guard, etc. Save the day. The means of transport that transport people from one side to the other, such as plane, train. Bus, car, coach, trams, boat. The various shows that take place in the city. Through the stunt team. The super old ones to impress. On the citizens. Miners who are engaged in gold mining. Builders who build new things. Expert adventurers exploring the jungle or arctic or underwater lands. Formula 1 shows. Study centers for minifigures who want to learn. Recreation area. Green spaces. Industry. Museums catch criminals. EtcAll this represents. The concept of which. What is from Lego I put in front of the children. 🤔 Because in real life the same thing happens. Of course, in recent years this concept doesn't really keep up with the outside 😅 world. In some ways. That's why there is no hero. Because all the citizens of the city are the heroes. Not just one. Practically the whole city is the hero in one way or another. If we were to think of a single person who was a hero, that was Chase McCani, he would be the only character who was a hero, but otherwise. In the concept of the city, there cannot be a single hero, that is, all the others should work and effort and the merits of a certain one should be rewarded. Man. All citizens are heroes. If we think about it. This concept worked more than 20 years ago, now in our times. 😅 You don't really need heroes in the city. Man is on his own. Because of distrust in a single person who takes responsibility. 😉
Chase was waaay better than what we have now, Duke Detain or whatever is just not it. None of these new "named" characters are really important and they dont add anything to the city line, even with the show (its mid). City fell off after 2019.

"AH! FRENCH PARROTS!" -Chase Mcain. And come on, we need a sequel to Lego City: Undercover!
We kind of had one in Lego Dimensions.
@piercelindenberg6842 Yeah but I mean a full sequel.
@Person-wz6iy agreed.
We need him back!!!!

The Police Theme fell off around 2019-2020, right when Chase McCain was retired, coincidence? I think NOT!
I had many sets with Chase McCain and he is a legend. Btw the set I had was high-speed chase which is now sadly in my Lego draws
I have the one with the code on the police car license plate for the original Wii U version of the game.
Which High Speed Chase do you own, 2013 or 2017? Both are great sets in my eyes
@@OurToyWorld I have the 2017 one

That's a fair point. It's so awesome we were blessed with such a fantastic character relatively recently
i made frank honey in lego form since he wasn't available a a mini figure wish we had a cmf series from lego city undercover
That's awesome! I would love to see more of the characters in minifigure form in sets going forward. would be so fun for fans to collect
Chase McCain is my idol 👍
Chase McCain is the legend!
I'm still waiting for Lego City Undercover 2, but I guess it won't come before GTA VI
@@MattijsVandebroek would be fantastic if they dropped a second game and a whole bunch of sets on us out of nowhere lol
Great video as always bro! Have a great weekend!
Thank you!

Chase predates Emmet. By a couple of years, I think.
Yes, Emmet came out in 2014, Chase was introduced in late 2012/early 2013
That's awesome, thanks for sharing!
Great video mate
Thank you !
Ah Chase McCain the only cop I'll ever trust. Good times.
I still hear people gush over Chase McCain to this day. Unlike most non licensed minifigures he has a legacy
