What a sweet painting, as delicate as the little duckling. And your paper storage cabinet?…Wow! It’s gorgeous. How lucky are YOU to have such a handy, and supportive husband ( I’m lucky too- he’s not as handy but SO supportive)😉
Hi Louise. You are an amazing teacher! I’m learning from you on Skillshare and I love how you take your time to explain every single step you make when you painting. It’s perfect for a new learner like me. I felt so much joy , relaxed and watercolor become so much easier than I thought. Thank you so much .
Love the paper drawers. I have sketched out an idea for one that will fit in a smaller space. I always enjoy watching you develop your paintings and I have even used some of your methods. :) Great post as always Louise!
Hello Louise, I just found your channel (today!!)and am amazed at all the beautiful art you create. I will be taking a shot at a follow along this gorgeous duckling very soon. I had one as a pet, when I was a child, a long long time ago. His name was Felix. Loved him to bits, so this painting in particular is really endearing to me. Thank you for sharing your talent and tips.
Love watching you paint, such a slow easy style, and so well explained. Can I ask please is it possible to do a background wash on hot press paper? If so how would you do it, in the same way or a different method? Thank you as always ❤️
The duckling is sooo lovely and looks "possible" 😁 your idea for storing paper and paintings is great. It's very difficult to keep everything in order in little space (my home) and this idea was a suggestion 🤗 thank you very much 🌹
So beautiful. I noticed you used Aureolin. It’s made with PY40, and is not as lightfast as first thought, it’s more a fugitive pigment yet is still marketed as lightfast. There are alternatives to it that are more stable. Just thought I would let you know. Scroll down to PY40 here, where he explains about Aureolin and suggest alternatives. www.handprint.com/HP/WCL/watery.html
@@LouiseDeMasi If I buy the supples you listed for this Duckling watercolor like the brushes, will I be able to use the brushes in your other watercolor paintings? I mean they are not cheap so if I am able to use them for other paintings of yours, then it will be worth an investment.
Lovely duckling Louise, but the star of the show is what your fabulous mr fix it did for you and your homeless watercolor papers! BRAVO!!!
What a sweet painting, as delicate as the little duckling.

Thank you very much Kyomii for the information. It's difficult to keep track of all the pigments. I appreciate the link.
Does Skillshare charge $99 after the free 30-day period? I want to take lessons under you.
Yes. It's $99 for a yearly subscription. Thank you 💛.
