    Nora, thank you for putting Pacsafe on my radar. I have 3 bags of different styles and sizes from them now. In addition to the videos you've posted on keeping your stuff safe during travel, I feel way more confident about not falling victim to theft. No system is foolproof, but I appreciate you arming me with some concrete actions I can take to avoid problems.

    Considering travel this fall and want to look casual ... but professional. This looks the bomb! Your review covered everything I want to know, especially the slash proof construction! Thank you!

    I have used this bag since early 2019, and it is one of the best travel bags ever. Considering I travel a lot for work. I am planning to buy the PacSafe GO at the end of the year. Totally worth it. Best bag ever, especially with so many thefts in some Big European cities and NYC . It's also the best bag for commuting around Jakarta and traveling around Indonesia with a laptop.
    I have T*** and Sam*****; they are equally durable but too big or bulky.

    What do you think about the brand, “Arden Cove?” It looked lovely and “waterproof” for a day bag

      I'm not familiar with the brand!

    this has been my EDC for a few years now. I feel like the padding on the straps have thinned out and are not as comfy as they used to be. And I wouldn't mind a minimal waist strap. My work laptop is kinda heavy. But it's a good bag and I have peace of mind when I have to walk away and leave it for a bit.

      Thanks for sharing your experience with this bag! I'd never thought of the waist strap, but I suppose if it were a particularly heavy load it might weigh on the shoulders. I think it would interfere with the aesthetic of the backpack though.

    Thank you for your videos, Nora! Love all the info you are posting! 2 questions... yesterday I saw your video of the purse/backpack from pacsafe...is this the sam one? If not, please can you remind me the name of that one?? And 2, can this bag be considered as your personal item, in addition to the carry on luggage? Thank you, Nora! Happy and safe travels to you!!! ❤

      Hi Janet!
      1) No, this is different from the purse/backpack combo, which is much smaller. It's here - bit.ly/36YJuIT
      2) Absolutely, this can be your personal item!

    Do they make smaller backpacks?

      Pacsafe makes a TON of amazing backpacks/purses/slings/etc of all sizes. One of my favs is the Anti-Theft Convertible Backpack, which converts to a purse if you don't need the full backpack space: Anti-Theft Convertible Backpack: alnk.to/7BbuQnL

    Compare to Vibe 25

    • @NoraDunn
      @NoraDunn  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The Vibe 25 looks pretty slick! To compare it to this pack that I've reviewed, the Vibe 25 is larger, and definitely more unisex in its look. (I think the Citysafe CX is more for women).
      I haven't tried the Vibe 25 out personally, but I would say it will make an EXCELLENT personal item for travel and daypack that will suit many purposes.

      @@NoraDunn Do you think 40L is too extra?

    • @NoraDunn
      @NoraDunn  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@tomd4748 - Depends on what you want to use it for. 40L is too big to bring on an airplane as a personal item (ie: under the seat in front of you), but it is appropriate as carry-on luggage size.
      I see 40L as luggage size, not daypack size.
      My Pacsafe EXP21 rolling luggage is 40L.

      @@NoraDunn I was thinking of ways to not bring a checked bag. May be possible to stuff 7 days worth of clothes in it, plus more. But I think I’ll have no choice but to use the checked bag if I want to bring anything substantial back from Italy. Also didn’t want to bring a wheeled carry on, and I can get the 40L venturesafe for $190 instead of the Arlo Skye for 2x that much, and only +7 L more space. Or I could go Monos carry on pro and lose 10% storage for $90 more than the venturesafe.
      Too many options.

    • @NoraDunn
      @NoraDunn  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@tomd4748 - When I travel with carry-on only, I tend to bring wheeled carry-on (that has the majority of my stuff in it) and a 20-25L backpack as my personal item which houses my electronics and other things that I want on me all the time - and also as a backup in case I'm forced to check my carry-on as can happen with super budget airlines or really small planes.
      But if you want to go with just one backpack, here are some suggestions, including packing lists etc: www.theprofessionalhobo.com/the-best-carry-on-backpack-for-one-bag-travel/
      But I also highly suggest you check out the carry-on backpacks I suggest in this article, one of which is made by Pacsafe: www.theprofessionalhobo.com/checked-vs-carry-on-luggage-and-why-checked-is-best/ (disregard my suggestion that checked luggage is best in the title....I give equal praise to all types of luggage lol)
