I just know this will be a long comment. We have the same taste in foams! I was floored when I tried the treluxe foam and curlsmith one. Makes me think you may also enjoy the verb curl foaming gel as that's another favorite of mine.
Treluxe hi definition gel and curlsmith hydro style flexi jelly are my top fave gels atm. The air dry cream works really well with it. (Ik it's marketed as a leave in but it functions so similarly to a cream).
Another curl activator/curl cream I would suggest is JVN air dry cream. It works similarly to the AG curl activator.
I dont do protein treatments often but I love the results the briogeo rice water protein moisture product gives me. I tend to use more bond building products like k18 and olaplex but I've also been testing living proof triple bond complex which has potential. Also really want to try the epres one.
I've tried the TGIN rose water collection per your recommendation and I liked the shampoo but the conditioner didn't have much slip for me. If you want to try a really really nice shampoo and conditioner set for kids I HIGHLY recommend gabriel cosmetics clean kids shampoo and conditioner. The slip on that conditioner is hands down best conditioner with slip I've ever tried. (Also doubles as a leave in.) Shampoo is also nice since it leaves it clean but not so stripped. So far these have been my favorite shampoo and conditioner and I got them on sale and they also come in 16 oz bottles so they last me a very long while. But I actually made a dent in them because I have so many others in my wash rotation.
I also tried the curlsmith detox and I really tried to like it. I really like the conditioner but the prebiotic primer had no slip and I noticed more hair shedding when I used the detox shampoo. I switched to briogeo since it's also a scrub and shampoo in one and I absolutely love it paired with their scalp conditioner.
I have the kinky curly curling custard and am excited to try it!
My favorite oil keeps switching but I've been enjoying the hh cosmetics hair and body oil. My top two for a while have been the curlsmith bonding oil and rose hair elixir. I've since finished the bonding oil but don't love it enough to repurchase until I finish some other oils in my stash.
I found using a primer or leave in with heat protection helps me a lot. I've been using the one from aveda leave in treatment. It's super lightweight and the smell is a little off but it works just fine as a primer since it's so lightweight.
I have hella itchy scalp so I've been using the Innate life problematic scalp treatment for years and it still hasn't let me down.
I just bought the ouidad gel so I'm looking forward to trying it out since I'm almost out of my curlsmith gel that I swear by.
My fave clarifier I think I mentioned in the last video is the kinky curly come clean shampoo but I've also been liking the innersense detox mask. It has decent slip cleans well without being stripping whatsoever. I've also been playing with I create definition but it has yet to wow me. The i create volume is also really really nice! The serenity smoothing cream I have to remember to use but I've also really liked it when I heat style.
Suggestion for styling I actually found layering foams works so well! I've layered the i create definition with treluxe mousse and have also tried verb foaming gel with curlsmith volume foam work really well. I would say try it if you feel like experimenting with styling!
I have so many more favorites but this comment will be a mile long. Great video as always!

Thanks for such a thorough comment! I'll try to address as much as I can. ☺ I definitely need to try the Verb Foam. It's in my list of videos to do sooner rather than later, so hopefully by the end of the month. I've heard so many great things, I'm excited to try it.
I'll look into the JVN air dry cream and see if I can't give it a try as well. I haven't tried any JVN products yet, so it might be nice to get one.
That's fair on the protein treatments. Not everyone needs them. I got a couple of Briogeo samples on Black Friday, so I also plan to redo my Briogeo review and include those.
That's interesting the the Curlsmith Primer didn't give you the same slip it gave me. Same with the TGIN products... so wild how different hair responds so differently to things. It's wild. One of the Briogeo products I got is the scrub though, so I'm excited to give that a try.
That's fair on the oils. I'd probably say the same. I like them. They work fine. But none of the ones I've tried blow me away. And agreed on the heat protectant. More often than not, I use a leave in with the heat protection in it. I should look more into Aveda products. I do really want to try some of them. So hopefully soon. But thank you for the suggestions on which ones to try!
I'll look into the Innate Life scalp treatment as well. ☺
I also need to try some of the Innersense stuff 😅😂they have so many great products. I really need to get my hands on some of them.
Thank you for all your wonderful feedback and suggestions! I really appreciate it. ☺

Love your shirt!! I really need to revisit some of the products you mentioned! I've grown out my hair dye and my silver hair is so fine that I've had to change everything. Have you tried the Adwoa Beauty melonberry collection? I here it's for fine hair. Anyway, Lol, Happy Holidays to you and thanks for the helpful content. 🙂🎄

Thank you! It came from a site called teeturtle ☺️ I bet growing out the dye would change a lot! That must be a lot of work to figure out the changes. 💕 I haven't tried the Adwoa products yet, but I'll look into it ☺️ thank you for the suggestion. Happy holidays to you as well and I'm glad you enjoy what I do. 💕

That Tres Luxe gel went in the trash. It kept straightening my curl pattern. It made my hair board straight in some spots. I had to get some hair cut off to bounce up my curl again.

I'm curious what else you did to troubleshoot the problem. I've never heard of this gel doing that, so I'd love to learn more. What other products were you using with it?

@@Linas_lovelylocks I stopped using it and my curls snapped back, then started using it again and same issue. Since it went in the trash, I haven't had any problems. It was the gel.

@@bluejean-1968 huh wild. i"ve never heard anyone say that before. It's good to know so that going forward I can keep it mind when recommending it to others.
