- Hello everyone welcome to my channel! Today, I got a chance to try Ramly Burger!
I have been waiting to try Ramly burger for so long. I’ve heard so much about it and many foreigners would always recommend this burger to anyone who visits Malaysia. I could not imagine how different it would taste from any other burger. However after trying it, I can say you can’t easily replicate the taste of Ramly.
The patty itself taste so different than your regular burger patty. And not to mention the amount of ingredients they put inside it. (eg. vegetables and SAUCE!) It looks like they are drowning the burger, but once you bite it, you will realize how well the flavor comes together.
I was told that there’s so many variations of Ramly Burger. Each stores has their own unique way to making it. I will definitely be trying out more stores in the future!

I can’t say which one is the best because for me different place got their own recipe..so,to compare them I think is not necessary..just enjoy the taste..if you want less chili sauce,ask the seller for ‘kurang sos’..if want extra mayo,ask them ‘mayonis lebih’..but many burger seller understand basic english..so,no worry babe!
U might want to try "Otai burger" as well. "Otai burger" is the competitor for "Ramly burger" here in Malaysia

Eating ramly burger while they still hot is another level of happiness
It was really nice and fresh! The patty is hot but not burning because of the amount of sauce that cools it down. So it’s like super perfect when it’s fresh!!

If you order sweet drinks next time say "kurang manis" it means less sweet but sometimes its still sweet so it depends on your taste hahaha. Welcome to Malaysia, Arisa! Now that you're in Malaysia, food is the least thing you need to worry about! (Weight gains though hahaha)
On level of sweetness and spiciness it sometimes depend on the region. The east coast region's food a bit on the sweeter side than the rest. Personally, i dont like sweet food except for dessert or kueh. But drinks need to be sweet or balance for eg: teh tarik need to be bitter+sweet. Now seeing your vid, im craving for ramly burgers. Ramly burger never enough if you just ordered 1. Thats why most people will buy the double patty. Yumm
Oh I didn’t know that! I thought it’s quite standardized in Malaysia 😂 I was told I can request for less sweetness for my drinks. Well thanks for the heads up and yes I actually went for more food after that! Haha I will definitely order the double next time 😊

A product banned in most of the world due to health concerns about the meat used. Even next door Singapore bans Ramly burgers for health reasons.

If you like cheese, can try out Pisang goreng cheese. Malacca there's “生虾芝士米粉” quite famous.

Ramly Food Processing Sdn Bhd (formerly known as Perusahaan Burger Ramly Mokni Sdn Bhd) is a Malaysian frozen and fast food company.
The company was founded by Dato’ Dr. Haji Ramly Mokni and Datin Hajjah Shala Siah Abdul Manap in 1984, with the aim of developing a clean and good-quality halal Western fast-food chain in Malaysia.
Ramly started a business selling burgers with his wife from street food stalls in 1979. While working as a butcher in a market, he discovered that it is unknown whether most fresh-meat sources were halal or not, leading to Ramly's decision to produce a halal-certified meat source, hygienic and quality products for all Muslim and non Muslim consumers in Malaysia. 👍🏻
They also have a chain of fast food restaurants but not as many as McDonalds restaurants.

good video. the gravy with your nan are the white one made coconut, curry (some with dhal) n sambal. glad with your malay , its good. actually ramly burger is the name of the factory that manufact the patty. they also produce the bun, sauce and others. u also can purchase them n make them at home . ( but i myself not good at making them 🤣)
Ahh so that was what the white sauce! I know the dhal,it’s common when ordering Roti in masak but I wasn’t sure what the others was! Thanks for letting me know :) yes, I was told you can purchase it, maybe I’ll try making one 😂
@@MalayPanTV the white one is coconut chutney. The red one I believe is another version of chutney, tomato chutney. My favourite is mint chutney but not every place has it.
Ahh,you found the gem, it's quite rare for a stall to sell deer and rabbit burger,it also have grilled patties which is good but kind of have a different textures when you bite it,you can make a video about the taste later since now you know how good is Malaysian street burger😆👍🏻

The 'Special' in the list means egg; ayam special = chicken with an egg in the burger, ayam double special = chicken with two egg in the burger

Yes , the Good Malaysian Ramly Burger stalls are worth to try especially those who are Clean & Generous with their Onions ( Bawang ) , Telor ( Egg ) , Ayam ( Chicken ) , Lembu ( Beef ) , Kambing ( Mutton ) , Deer Meat ( Rusa ) , Timun ( Cucumber ) & Cheese ( Keju ) ... Terima Kasih ( Thank You ) , Sama~Sama ( You're Welcome ) , Manis ( Sweet ) & Maaf ( Sorry ) ... Great & Useful to learn some Malaysian Language as they're quite similar with the Indonesian Language used in the Resort of Bali! 🕯

its more of a snack when we eat from evening to supper time.
when u ask him( apa special? )he thought u ask him what is his recommendation as it can mean what is your specialty in malay.
instead u should ask...(apa *itu* special?) . special for burger terms it mean the meat with egg.
example
ayam = chicken
ayam special = chicken with egg
ayam special cheese = chicken with egg and cheese
sama-sama is the reply if someone say terima kasih,
similar like when u say thank you then the person you thanked will say u are welcome,
sama-sama means (you are welcome).
belas = ten = 10
example dua belas = dua + belas = 2 + 10
if eleven is se(belas) = se means 1 also, so = 1 + belas = 1 + 10
= belas only works from eleven(11) until nineteen(19)
(in tens) also can use as (puluh), se means = one(1)
so if ten, we call it se(puluh) = 1 ten = 10,
dua puluh = 2 ten = 20
teh tarik (tea with milk) is the country drink, however some lovers like me prefer teh o ais limau
also if u see the drinks menu , u might see the letter 'o' .
example
kopi = coffee with milk , usually hot or warm
kopi ais = ice coffee with milk
kopi o = coffee without milk ,aka (black coffee)
kopi o ais = ice coffee without milk
teh tarik = tea with milk , usually hot or warm
teh tarik ais = ice tea with milk
teh o = tea without milk
teh o ais = ice tea without milk
teh o ais limau which is ice tea without milk,instead add Calamansi (Limau kesturi)

A tip for foreign tourist.. when u introduce yurself, tell them where are u come from.... Malaysian will try to speak the words from your country if they know it.
For example.. when a Japanese tell a Malaysian that ure a Japanese, they will try to say to u or learn one or two word from u.. 😁
Yeah that’s one thing I notice about malaysian! They are super adaptive and kind! Not just learning, but you guys can literally change your tone n vocabulary instantly. For example: I’m bad at English, they will try to speak slower n use more simple words. They will even speak in super broken English so that I can understand better 😂
RAMLY用語の手引き:-
- Ayam は鶏肉です・
-Dagingは牛肉です・
-Ikanは魚肉です。
-Rusaは鹿肉です。
-Arnabはうさぎ肉です。
-Specialはバーガーは卵で包まれています
-Benjoは卵バーガーです肉ありません。
-Oblongはバーガー肉は長いのほうです。
-Burger Panggangはバーガーは少し焼いたような味がする
-Cheese lelehはバーガーがチーズで溢れるようになるそうです。

はじめまして! 私はIpohというところに住んでいますのマレーシア人です。十二リンギットのramly burgerはIpoh人にとってはちょっと高いですね, Ipohのramly special cheese burger はだいたい５リンギットくらいだけですよ!

If you at shah alam you need to try nasi bukit (hill rice).. they serve normal malay food but for one portion you need like 3 days to finish it. Student love it because they can spend less for more food
If you want less sweet drinks you have to request for "kurang manis".
