Is there a way to use both internet and uploaded document for knowledge base, where if it’s not found in knowledge base it goes to internet based on a prompt for the types of sites to get info from? I want to learn how to use Ai avatar to describe clothing displayed on a maniquin so I can post on social media channels
Thanks you so much for your kind words 🙂. I use voiceflow for building chatbots and yes you can have multiple sources for the knowledge base. It is recommended that for information that is important, upload via a text document rather than use the scraper. If you want it to go to the internet to find answer, it can do that by the bot temperature setting. If the temperature is 0, it will only reference the current KB, but if it is 1 or more, it can “hallucinate” meaning it can reference other sources. As with everything test it under different scenarios to ensure that it is giving the output you desire. I recently started a free ai community where you ask questions, share your knowledge etc. o would recommend you join that- community.flipbytes.com/

Not that I am aware of. For knowledge base in voiceflow, the list is limited to urls, text, pdf etc. I don’t think you can upload a sql database but I could be wrong. Email the voiceflow team to confirm this.

Thats definitely possible and a lot of banks would actually do that as well for providing better customer service. If an external person is creating such a bit then you would need the banks api access to get the details on account balances etc

Hi …when you add the api block on voiceflow, if you click on it, it open the block details and you need to add the api url, api headers, api key etc. For this video, I used an api from rapid api but you can use any api. Just make sure that you have the calling url, the key and if it has any headers. Generally whichever api you are using, should have all the information. Then you use get method to fetch information from the api or post to send information to the api. I hope this clarifies. Handoff to a live agent is not a very straightforward implementation in voiceflow. You need to have some knowledge of programming custom actions. If you are enquiring about voice flow, it's not free. They have a sandbox plan where you can play around with it, but to deliver something to a client or create something meaningful, you need to upgrade to a pro plan.
It won’t answer wrong. It picks up the answers from your knowledge base. If the answer is not satisfactory, then you need to tweak the prompt and temperature and test it until you get the answer you are looking for.

Hi ..it’s a beginner tutorial for creating chatbots using voiceflow, not for Wordpress. Also people can have many different website hosting providers like, wix or square space or Wordpress or custom hosting etc so it’s not possible to cover everything in this video. Regrading Wordpress, it is a content management system which is free but it needs hosting, and there are many providers that you can check out such as SiteGround, host gator etc Google them and you can find many. Once you have Wordpress, the menu I showed can be easily accessed from the Wordpress admin area. Hope that helps!

I have used a few chatbot solution but I found voiceflow and flowise to be the best out of the lot, atleast for now.
