How long does this type of garland last??? How far out would you do it for an event???

I would feel confident with 5-6 days with proper storage in a florist cooler. You probably could get away with even longer, but I don’t generally try.

This garland has silver dollar eucalyptus, seeded eucalyptus, bonsai eucalyptus and podocarpus.

I tried making this and when I picked it up it all separated.. why??

It could be that either you’re not lashing it together tightly enough when you wire it, or the pieces you are using may be too big or too far apart in the garland, so they aren’t creating that continuous flow.

@@TheFlowerRoom we used wire. tried to do it tight! would you say tie wraps would work better??

I do not have enough experience with tie wraps to give an opinion on that topic. My best guess by your description is that the pieces weren’t overlapped enough and that you ended up with something that looks segmented, but without seeing what you did, it’s hard to be sure how to guide you. Sorry I can’t be of more help.
