The 2nd "non choice" that she HAD to choose was the divorce - the visuals showed her sitting (whilst obviously singing) in a chair, the camera lingers on her hand - minus her wedding ring. From start to finish, the director, very succinctly, embroidered poignant visuals throughout the vid. Nothing in the vid was wasted or frivolous - everything was purposeful and intentional. Most important though, was that the vid could NEVER be "bigger" than the song (similarly, the music was stripped back). The song had to tell the story - the song HAD to impact the listeners emotions. So fantastically clever 👏👏👏👏👏 She can write and sing so incredibly beautifully. What a star 🌟
