@@realisticproductionsLLC to be honest I haven’t used it yet, Ima try it out this weekend. I’ve been recording rap vocals lately but ima def put it to use
Do you know are there any other interface options that can monitor autotune in realtime? I really like Apollo but it’s killing me on playback distortion with windows
What type of distortion are you hearing during playback? Is it the whole session that sounds messed up or just that indvidual track? The reason why I ask, is because if it's the whole session I may have a hack for it. It's a weird one but it works lol. When the whole session distorts, go the "Playback Engine" change the buffer size hit "ok" & then change the buffer size back. For some reason that works lol. Also, if you're dealing with problems on indvidual tracks, have you changed your session to "Low Latency Monitoring"
@@realisticproductionsLLC The whole session or any playback, if I go into say TH-cam and play anything it crackles and pops or even sound test in the windows settings, your advice is definitely something I could try in session, once I noticed the issue I tried all the optimization settings uad recommendeds, changing bio’s settings, buffer size, my drivers are up to date, I just purchased the Apollo twin x usb earlier this week
Is it possible to use the realtime x version from ua as a plugin in logic pro to modify a already recorded track? Or is it just for doing „realtime“ stuff?
You can definitely use it on a pre-recorded track & the UA version will run off of your Apollo’s DSP & so your session will have a lighter CPU load while you’re mixing.
Log into your UA account on their website & then go to the Auto-Tune product page on their site & you will see price options for upgrading from a previous UA version or buying it out right for the first time.
No. Auto-Key works with both versions. The only difference is one runs off of DSP from your Apollo Interface & the other one runs off of CPU on your computer. Running on DSP is a lighter load on your computer. And the Antares version has Graph Mode & UAD's does not.
bro im confused as hell is autotune realtime x and antares autotune advanced completley different? like wtf i try to buy the antares one and it links me to autotune realtime x im like tf i searched everywhere i cant find shit ... these are seperate programs or 1 program??
They’re not different. Same brand. Same company. Same technology. Same software. One runs off of DSP & one runs off of CPU. That’s really the only difference.
I don’t think you’ve heard future without auto tune, cuz his auto tune varies😂 he as a unique voice. Lol you’d think he talks with auto tune. Great review though 💯
True. I've mixed a song for Future before & the Auto-Tune was already printed on his voice when I got the session, so I couldn't bypass the Auto-Tune to hear what he sounded like without it. I thought I did a video using that session, but I can't remember what video that was 😩
That’s gotta be the placebo effect you did to yourself there on that one lmao, because the Auto-Tune brand makes both versions. It’s literally the same exact software & technology. The only difference being the UAD version runs off of DSP instead of CPU. So if you’re hearing a difference, it’s because you convinced yourself there’s a difference beforehand lol
@@realisticproductionsLLC bro to me it doesnt sound like future or tpain or kanye at all? Im looking for that heavy ass autotune wear it wiggles your voice like future on ds2, or "dranking and driving - 21 savage".. I really want to agree with you bro cuz i wanna cop autotune asap but Im having a hard time finding the autotune sound i really like.. I have a m2 macbook pro and a apollo twin and a neuman all copped this year all brand new, all i need next is autotune but im having trouble figuring out if i should cop uad's autotune or antares.., or even if melodyne is how you get that sound im up for it, i just want that damn sound im looking for bro.. im sure u can understand..
@@realisticproductionsLLC Last question bro if you were getting started and had 400 left , which would u cop 1st ?autotune, manley voxbox, or lexicon reverb?
Good breakdown! I just got the upgrade a few weeks ago
I appreciate it! How are you liking it so far?

I understand; that makes sense.

@@realisticproductionsLLC thanks a lot. is around 100$ a good deal for that version from ua?
How did u update for 49?

ok im seeing their different? uad has autokey while antares u gotta buy.. but isnt antares more legit sounding autotune? like some ds2future autotune

@@realisticproductionsLLC type shit! I'm sure running only autotune on dsp while running reverb, delay, compress on console apollo would work perfect!

Just get the UAD Autotune it can be used in Console and In your Daw
But this is literally a review on the UAD version... Like the whole video is based on the UAD version lol.
Not disagreeing but when comparing the two im just stating the summary with my agreement
yea i mean it sounds like autotune but it dont really tho lol

Dude, just switch it over to “classic mode” to get that gritty hard sound, just like I said in the video at 4:35 lol
@@realisticproductionsLLC you saved me alot of time bro, bout to cop uad's right now
