4K Drivelapse - New York State Route 5 & The Buffalo Skyway - Hamburg to Buffalo, NY

This video follows New York State Route 5 along the shores of Lake Erie from the town of Hamburg New York, through the City of Lackawanna and then through the southern industrial portion of Buffalo into downtown on the elevated Buffalo Skyway
Through Hamburg and Lackawanna NY SR 5 is known as the Hamburg Turnpike and we pass by the old, now defunct, Lackawanna (Bethlehem) Steel Plant. As we enter the Buffalo city limits we travel alongside Lake Erie and the Buffalo River and we pass by the many old and abandoned or repurposed grain silos of 'Silo City"
As we near downtown Buffalo we rise high up onto the Buffalo Skyway where we are treated to some awesome views of the Buffalo Skyline and the KeyBank Center home to the NHL's Buffalo Sabers. We wend the video heading east along I-190 towards the Peace Bridge which links Buffalo, NY with Fort Erie, ON, Canada. Sit back and enjoy the ride!!!
