I grew up outside Buffalo in the 70s it's a cleaned up city and Niagara river is looking good too.
Buffalo is so lovely. Go Bills! If you are wondering why it looks empty and deserted. Trust me, the city is bustling. The time of day depends on everything. If he did this driving tour at night on the weekend. Downtown, Harborside, and Allentown are all full of life.
Yeah this was Black Friday. A lot of people probably were at home that day.

Gotta agree with you there. It was bustling when I visited last April and I kept asking if this really was the city I grew up in 😅
Funny that Mileage Mike was here around Thanksgiving. I was in town visiting family, and even went to Hofbrauhaus for a beer and the Christkindlmarkt that he drove by in the last minute, but I think that was on Saturday.
That dump looks so empty because in the past 30 years it’s lost like half its population 😂

I believe my family lived in Buffalo NY from 1986-1990 winter was brutal especially when the strongest winds are blowing (lived closer to the peace Bridge connected to Canada)
I don’t think I ever had a visit to downtown probably did but don’t remember what it looked like

The problem is that Buffalo is on NY, so tax rates on income and property are some of the highest in the country

2020 population = 276k
Only rust belt city to gain population since 1950 though
@@teejay33955almost all of the major cities in New York has gain population. As far as the other rust belt cities, not so much. I also believe that there are former residents from rust belt cities moving into upstate cities throughout New York like Buffalo and Rochester.
this is an incredibly negative portrayal of Buffalo- there's not much going on downtown but they didn't go to the waterfront or the Canal fest or the architecture in the city or the incredible so many things and people can live here so this is just junk
No this is Buffalo sorry downtown the canal is just that the canal it's not the the downtown it was or could be .That the way the "powers that be" want it sadly !
