Thanks !!! Very helpful 😃😃 I’m changing the diff oil now on my 54 and I thought it was only the bolt in the middle. Now I know! Thanks from Norway brother
so not sure if this is a model difference, but I have a 52 TO30 and it requires GL-1 SAE 90 Mineral oil, and I was informed never to go higher than GL-1 cause that is not what it calls for and SAE 90 is not 80w90 and should not be used. the gearbox, pump, and PTO are all one cylinder open to each other, and mine takes 6 gallons or 27 liters according to the overhaul shop manual. anyway, maybe a model difference thing
Hello, very good informative video, I just want to ask, beside the gearbox drainer, there seems to be a hole with a little pipe coming out on the left. Is that normal? I am asking because there is a lot of oil on the underside of my TED20 and there is no pipe coming out of the hole on my tractor. Thank you in advance.
It's not a pipe it's a drainer hole in case there is an oil leak to stop the oil getting on the clutch it is a split pin /cotter pin to stop the hole from getting clogged with dirt. Just make sure the hole stays clear Hope this helps

@@MichaelnJennyFrancis Thank you
I've got a te20 think it's 1949 not sure . Is the oil change the same . And how much oil . And what grade . Hope i get some good advice cheers
The oil I used in this video is 15W-40 and 20 liters. The te20 should be the same
Why do you use 15w40 instead of 80-90 gear oil?
The 15w 40 is a multi purpose lubricant suitable for engines, transmissions and hydraulics in modern and older tractors.
How much oil does she take roughly?
I put 20 litres in my gearbox
