Part of what is impressive about this song is that he composed it thinking about the artists who approached him, telling them that he had inspired them to follow the path of music and he performs this song with Ryūichi Sakamoto, who was the person who awakened Suga's love for music fulfilling her dream of meeting him. A beauty of a song. Greetings from Argentina. (Ryūichi Sakamoto passed away very shortly afterwards).

What can I say...? Yoongi is just so unique and precious. Him bringing Woosung on, shows how he recognizes the talent and beauty of another. He has literally introduced Woosung to ARMY. The two of them made this song perfect.
The rose is such a small amazing band that has been in the industry for years but they never made it like huge pop stars unlike BTS, but here Yoongi shows he recognises Woosung's talent and it is amazing

This is my favorite song! The combination of Suga's rapping and Woosung's vocal's is absolutely perfection. As someone else said Woosung (The Rose) wrote the parts that he sang. Went to the D-Day movie it was so good and lots of fun!

I am a 19-year-old university student in medicine, just 9 years ago I discovered BTS and it became my strength. They were my role models, and their lyrics were so comforting. I thought "If BTS made their dream come true, then I can do it too" so I worked hard because I felt like they had my back. With their Love Yourself album they made me gain so much confidence, and I grew up into the adult I became. Now I am even closer to my dream because I entered med school. I am so thankful for their kind words and positive energy, they are probably the reason for my success.

When I first heard this song the mantra “everything’s going to be okay” started repeating and it bothered me and then it broke me. I was going through a lot of loss at the time and him saying it so many times made it become so real to me that even after all that loss I would be okay and eventually start living again in a world where time keeps moving forward. I would still be able to dream again one day. I cried. A lot. This song means so much to me. Thank you for loving it too!
I think a lot of people got the same feeling my dear, I can't listen this soy without crying because, after the darkest moment of my life this song makes me keep saying, everything will be ok
I think 'Snooze' is the song of the year, incredibly powerful. Suga's emotions in his rapping and comforting lyrics is indescribably amazing.
Woosung voice and lyrics captures the songs message beautifully.

I've always thought Yoongi had an old head on young shoulders. He's very thoughtful, kind and nurturing. And very wise! Yoongi and all the BTS members are very humble and very thankful and inspiring.
Min Yoongi/Suga/Agust D is my FOREVER BIAS 💜. This raw, vulnerable, honest, gentle genius wrecks me( a 76 year old great grandmother)to the very depth of my soul. He wrecked me with 'The Last' 'First Love' and his D-2 mixed tape. Can't wait to see D Day April 14. Yoongi says BTS had no seniors that they could go to for advice, consoling etc, and wants to there and provide that for this new generation of Artist. Snooze😭😭😭😭😭So beautiful just like Yoongi's soul.💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

All the boys have said they wished they had a senior artist who had experienced the things they were experiencing…they wanted the insight and wisdom from someone, anyone, who had walked that path first…but there was nobody, they literally paved the way…
And here is Suga, offering up himself as the person he wanted, but did not have…I shed tears of frustration for Yoongi but tears of joy for those people who may finally have a sunbaemin to talk with…
Snooze is also my favourite track on Suga's last album.
It is a perfect and very moving collaboration of three great artists: Suga, Ryuichi Sakamoto and Woosung
This is the message Suga wrote on the passing of Ryuchi Sakamoto a few months after this collaboration.
"I have been shattered by the news of the death of a musician I love.
I grew up listening to the music of Mr Sakamoto and I love all the music he has created.
After having met him for the first time in 2022, I could collaborate with him on Snooze.
Every instant , between our first encounter and our collaboration have been moments that have filled me with joy.
I pray from the bottom of my heart: Senseï, may your long journey be peaceful."
If you don't know Ryuichi Sakamoto, listen to his amazing music from Yellow Magic Orchestra to his soundtracks, his piano music and his more experimental music on different collabs...Plus he was an amazing human being. I must say I cried on his death and felt shattered like I'd lost someone very dear to my heart.

Many people already mentioned things, that are important to me about this song and also praised your's and Eli's take on the song. They're right. Snooze is a song that I personally needed, need, will definitely need probably until my last day. It is so reassuring and beautiful, it picks me up like you would a limping kitten and everything will be ok. I feel a very deep love for Suga when listening to this to a point it becomes a little painful. The song is so beautiful, it is such a gem.
And then there's Woosung's part in this, and that would maybe be my only critique about this reaction: Woosung and Ryuichi Sakamoto deserve much more credit here. Woosung added the chorus, those two are also friends and I think he really added meaningfully to the whole metaphor. I think he really understood Yoongi in that moment and commented that it was a beautiful moment for their friendship as well. So please, when you talk about Snooze, talk about Woosung and Mr. Sakamoto as well, who added the beautiful piano parts.
Just think how big of a deal it must've been for Yoongi that one of his idols wanted to contribute to his song.
But I really like watching you two. I like you anyways, and it's so wholesome how you two appreciate the music. We need to be much more appreciative with eachother and much kinder as humans, you guys are great examples of how it could be. Love it. Thank you!

I always thought when the lyrics say he would leave after “you” reach the end of the rainbow meant he wouldn’t leave “you” until you had achieved your dreams and can handle life. Kind of like taking your training wheels off and soaring on your own. Eli has given a great interpretation with the “arc”. It’s something I hadn’t thought of, which is why I love this
So excited for this. Hi Max and Eli. What makes these lyrics even more powerful for me is how they have previously talked about how competitive Korea can be. They have lyrics in very early songs about how the Korean education system (and also the idol system) makes them step on the backs of their fellow students/trainees/employees.....whatever the case may be to be the best. Your point was great that he is saying....don't fall in that trap..there is room for all of us and I will support your journey. Yoongi has a beautiful soul.

I really liked your reaction and your take on the lyrics. It's my favorite song on his album. He wrote it for younger artists, but like you said, it can apply to anyone chasing their dreams.
By the way, Ryuchi Sakamoto played the piano on this track. He's a legendary composer who's had a huge impact on modern music. Yoongi became a fan after hearing his score for The Last Emperor when he was a kid. I've been a fan of Mr. Sakamoto for a long time too, and I totally get why he influenced Yoongi. They both have a deep passion for music.
It was so heartwarming to see you two gentlemen reacting in such a meaningful way to such an incredibly empathetic song by our Suga. When Max said that he just loves Yoongi so much he echoed so many Armys. Your insights were very much appreciated, thank you for sharing them with us!💜

I think he said that (many years ago) because he was overwhelmed by events and wanted some peace of mind at least in his next life. It's good that he feels in a better position now.

With the scheduls BTS had for years, his damaged shoulder and his composing till in the early morning hours he lacked a lot of it.
As a result he naped a lot during small breaks.
Suga's songwriting skills are next-level genius! I love this song! This heals my soul! When an artist's creation has a positive effect on you, you know he's/ they're really good.

Great song! Snooze is my favorite Yoongi song. He’s tried to be a source for artists coming up after him because BTS had no one to serve as a mentor when they began.
As for suggestions, I think you would like “Lights” which is one of their Japanese songs. There is a lovely mv for it. BTS Japanese songs often get neglected by reactors which is a shame as some of their best songs are from their Japanese albums.

I knew right away it was Woosung singing with Suga. So, I knew then The Rose ( Woosung’s band ) would never be the same after this. ARMY took them on to love and support also, just like Becky G, Coldplay, and many others that have collaborated with the BTS members. They have taught ARMY to spread our love and support to all who are following their dreams. No matter what that dream may be. The message of love is so powerful in all of their music. Even to the haters, their enemies. Forgive and reach out your hand and pull them up.
I am 52 and am going through a very hard time in my life. My mental state is not ok. Listening to this song again today I let the tears flow uninterruptedly. Why do I feel like Yoongi was talking to me directly? My bias wrecker you have done it again. And Woosung's voice.... heavenly.

Right when I saw that Suga is going to have a song with Woosung I knew it would be amazing since I'm really big fan of both of them. ( You should definitely check out The Rose and Woosung solo songs... Promise you won't regret) Woosung wrote his parts himself and with his voice it always hits so hard + Suga is literally such a genius
Love this song, not just for the message, although as you both said, it's beautiful and uplifting and inspirational. Woosung's voice is ethereal and poignant. But for ARMY to hear from Yoongi, again and again and again, everything's going to okay, is the lullaby to soothe our troubled minds.

This song does things to me, it's like I heard it in a dream, another life, in my imagination.. It feels close but so far away and I feel nostalgic and melancholic but uplifted at the same time. What magic Yoongi can create with his music. Also applies to the other members of BTS, but this particular song makes me feel so much at once.

Hearing you discuss the lyrics left me with a swirl of emotions, especially those that inspire me to be more empathetic and generous to others. What an interesting reaction from you both. I believe that Woosung wrote his part and it fits so well with Yoongi's. Both their voices compliment each other too. This song is made more poignant due to the loss of Ryuichi Sakamoto. He is best known for, 'Merry Christmas Lawrence'. Have you reacted to Suchwita with Yoongi's friend, El CAPITXN? In that they talk about the help Yoongi tried to give him when he lost his voice and could no longer perform. It's interesting to hear from someone who has known Yoongi for a long time.

I left behind a pathway filled with flowers instead or thorns…people always get so offended when other says BTS paved the way… but they did .. and so many other artists did as well.. it doesn’t just have to be one group doing the hard work. It’s anyone who has been able to open the door for other kpop acts to follow in a scene where kpop was once ignored… and the BTS impact has been huge… if you deny that BTS made an impact on the Kpop industry, you’re delusional..

YES you got the "don't be as miserable as me". I wondered if you would. I don't know if you know, but Yoongi has *definitely* had his challenges and traumas. You picked up on that one mention--it's key to his depth and realness as an artist. And YES it can be for anyone, not just an up and coming musician. Ryuichi Sakamoto was an AMAZING composer, and also acted in the iconic film "Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence", opposite David Bowie, no less, for which Sakamoto wrote the score as well. I've always admired him so much, and it was just icing on the cake of my bias toward Yoongi to find out that he admired him too.

Like your blooming flower comment. You can also think of it as a flower blooms in it a due time. Weather may be hard, strong winds, extreme heat, and even frozen days, but once spring comes, all that harships pays off because you will bloom, be beautiful creation, and even inspire or be a comfort to others. ( Think about music, just like flowers. There is a song/flower for each mood/special occasion)

Loved your reactions. Yes Suga is extremely talented and uses his talent wisely and he inspires those that pursuing their dreams the right way. We all have dreams in whatever we pursue and to do so with all your passions and we will makes mistakes along the way but to stay true to yourself. He gives of himself to those that are pursuing their dreams to keep striving until they reach their dreams and never give up. He is truly inspiring person and we need to cherish these things. On my birthday I went to see his movie in the theater and I enjoyed it very much and I feel his music. I will always remember the day. Loved the way your friend interpreted the falling of petals as the idea of accepting the natural cycle of stardom. This makes sense given the small life cycle artists have in K-pop and given BTS has already mentioned several times about their love for singing and making music irrespective of the applauses or the lack of it! At one point, I think they have mentioned how they do not mind coming back to the ground so far as it is not a crash but a landing! I watched the road to DDay on Disney + before being an Army. I knew very surface level things about BTS at that point and I decided to watch it. This song made me cry. Such beautiful lyrics and wow Woosung voice 🫶🏾🫶🏾
