Good luck to whoever buys that.
That galvanized iron plumbing tee in the exhaust is hilarious! 🤣. I’ve seen a lot of odd stuff over my 68 years but that is a first!
I think it a neat period piece, modded custom corvettes were everywhere when i was growing up in the 1960s...it would make a good power tour car...
Man I wish I saw this yrs ago when I had $ and could lean over a hood!
THis car is exactly how Id want a 63. Its perfect!
I hope they leave it like that and leave a period modded survivor out there. Fix it up s little but keep the vibe.
That's a fair price. We have plenty of $130k Mecum specials...
Love the look of this car, reminds me of the 70s street freak theme.
These cars were made to be modded and raced. CAnt get any rubber under a stock body
ARe those 27 or 28 inch tires? Bet shes got a 4.56 which are fun as hell.
Wish tire companies would start producing 50 series 15 inch tires again. Just in radials, big trend of guys going back to 15s.
i dig it sounds like a long dur cam probly 240-250 at 50 yea its a bit ruff but very cool
Loved small journal 327s with big solid flat tappets big compression and deep gears. THis car is perfect for it
Enjoy all your videos, i'm a big fan of C2's and Trans Ams. Did you ever sell the red "flooded" 73 from Florida? Regards
Thanks! No we still have the trans am. Not sure if it will be getting sold it’s turned out to be a nice car!
@@HorsepowerDepot IF you lose your mind and want to donate to the disabled Ill give you my word tha tbody will stay exactly like it is!
Yeah I know...only dreams are free lol
Good luck with them. Bid on those 6 cars and parts. You definitely paid a premium for the condition and work. Some good money in the parts but a ton of work and time.
Where the heck have you guys been I missed you the 63 vet looks fantastic big block baby good job guys I'm still watching get that awesome orange copo kicking ass
LS 😂
I have been restoring a rusty Pantera for about a year. Wish I saw this first!
The title might say 1963, but it has 1965-1966 side vents. No big deal for a daily driver though.
Beautiful car any update on the 403 and the 84mm torqstorm?
I like that car!!
Out of curiosity, what's up with the '65-'66 front vents? Was the clip replaced or was this another "improvement" by the previous owner(s)?
I couldn’t tell you. It was that way when we got it.
@@HorsepowerDepot copy that.Thanks!
Those also aren't '63 gauges either.
whats the story with the blue 69 camaro on the other lift. car looks sweet, is it yours and is it fast??
I’ve done 1 video of it a few months ago. It’s getting a procharged LT4, 6 speed manual, Detroit speed 4 link, just a project that I work on when I get extra time.
That is a vary fair starting price compared to what my friend paid for his convertible.
Some buffing and some new wheels and tires it will look awesome!
Supertricks!
And some frame repairs. And dome electronics/gauge repairs, and..
@@markwise9868 I remember those, loved em as a kid
When I saw you put those side pipes on with no heat shields I wondered how long it would take one of you to get a leg burn. Those are some serious leg burners!
this would be prefect to throw a BBC in with the rare 1st gen alloy L88 heads, the really rough casting ones. 4 years too old, but whos counting! Although frankly, a solid cammed tunnel rammed 327 revving to the moon would be very appropriate!
The 2nd gen L88s didnt have porosity problems you can still find them for a grand a set roughly.
Id want a set of AFRS compression and an Isky sft cam.
@@gordocarbo my 72 castings were porous as heck. Huge thermal expansion tp boot.
Pouring all that fresh gas down the carburetor is good for the Rings?
Very cool car and it runs good!
At least she don't have a Qjet4bbl. 350 to add more controversy. This one could have a manual choke, and not get the hate from having a Qjet.
The 327 from that year was the sought after small journal that RPM'd with 340s. And great piston speed ratio.
Dont get the hate for Qjets. They are a lot "smarter" than a holley.
Never had to adjust mine for my dailies! Set choke turn key fired up first crank every time
Did you Sell it?
Couldn't Drive it back to NM sO easily huh, would at least need Brake Lights & Turn signals . Does it have Windshield Wipers? 🏁gF☮️
It’s on eBay right now. Someone better hurry up and buy it before I change my mind! I’ve been driving it around and I like it! One of the best running cars we have right now lol.
@@HorsepowerDepotdid it sell yet?
I love the old headers...looked like sumthin ford💩 wouldve dun😂😂😂😂😂😂
Is the blue ‘69 Camaro for sale?
I like it!
Make a video on that ZL1 Camaro 👀👀
The blue one? There’s an entire series on our channel with that car.
Hey, do you guys still have the datsun project ?
Yeah I’ve still got it.
@@HorsepowerDepot no disrespect meant. But that car needs that chassis repair first and foremost. Then the electric and brake and suspension gone thru. Runs great and that’s a nice start. I like your channel and glad you are honest and pointing out the problems here.
Love it!!
32K for an unsorted Rat Rod with unsafe seats, unsafe brakes, crappy paint, hideously modified body, ankle burning side pipes, non functioning instrumentation, falling apart steering column, and a drag racing rear gear ratio? C'mon guys, is this for comic relief? Good luck with this one.
You haven’t priced mid year corvettes in a while. It’s not 1974 anymore. Find a cheaper running and driving 63-67 corvette for sale.
@robertdemers8508 I can tell from your comment that you don't have a clue about what these cars sell for. If you don't like it, then move on. It costs a ton of money to get a car like this and then fix it enough to be a daily driver.
@@HorsepowerDepotJordan , thank you for replying with class . There’s a whole narrative of bitter criticism often aligned with the youth hating movement . You get Results. Always be critical of people who argue with results. Keep doing what you’re doing.
@@HorsepowerDepot I purchased a 67 small block coupe in boxes 15 years ago for more money than that. Guess I was stupid huh? lol. Ignorance is bliss.
BIDENOMICS IS REAL 💯
Factory mufflers are only good contour restorations
Dynomax super turbos a great replacement. They are the original zero loss muffler. Originally designed by David Vizard. They were first branded as the Sonic turbo
Probably a bad brake hose
We put new hoses on it.
@@HorsepowerDepot 10-4 I’ve seen it a bunch on older cars especially ones that have been driven. It will definitely make someone a good start to a project.
Dude you let your geezer old man gas can the motor ??? Are you some kind or PUTTS .. Whats the name of your shop Geezers Half assed Garage INC ?
That geezer old man is my grandpa who wanted to do the job!
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
32,000 that's a 1500 car all day long what you guys been smoking!👎
You find 63-67 corvettes for $1500 I’ll buy every single one of them.
@HorsepowerDepot yeah you would say that because you're in the receiving end this auto market is out of control and it's unacceptable no thank you I'll keep my money!🙃
@@mannyr.2756 You're out of your mind if you think you can find one, let alone in this condition for 1500, 26 years ago my dad bought a mostly original 64 not running or driving for 8500
What planet are you on?
@theinsaneshecklador6598 man you're stupid obviously I'm on the wrong planet!
