    Happy New Year Friends!
    In this tutorial I am talking about my brushes, why I chose them, when and how I use them. It was a very common comment, so hope this video addresses all the questions you may have.
    I am also talking about just launched Patreon page, briefly explaining the tiers. I will be very excited if you support me there as well!
    Hope this tutorial is informative!
    Happy painting

      Joseph Zbukvic is one of the leading contemporary watercolor artists and it's from one of his books. He is amazing. If you have a chance have a look (it's very hard to get hold of his books thought...as of his workshops.)

    Very nice presentation, a simplified picture of complex subjects, with excellent illustration of each size, bristle type, and shape. A+ !

    Can you list the brushes so we can know the exact names to buy and try them?

      I wonder why she never named them so it’ll be easy for us to find them.

      Hi Vera, I usually buy my brushes from Jackson's Art. I don't know where you live and if they deliver there. Dainayw Squirrel brushes are from Ali Express. Which I highly recommend price vs quality - they are amazing. I have a set of #5, #3, #1, if you add an Escoda Perla #10 (stiffer brush with fine point for smaller shapes and details) to this and a Silver Black Velvet Script #1 (for very fine details, such as wires, tree brunches, etc) from Jackson's Art that's all you need to start.

      Thank you Glenda, I know, it's a tough decision. I finally found a brand that produces good imitation brushes - NEEF. (I'm very disappointed with Escoda and other popular brands, not good for larger format and the point is often rough)

    Would you use big brushes for a4 sized paper?

    • @nvfineartstudio7296
      @nvfineartstudio7296  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes, definitely! Big brush holds more water, it not only means it can cover large area, it means that your wash will be moist enough to form the bead and stay wet for longer. It's not just the size of the paper, it's the capacity of the brush to hold and gradually release the water. I feel like I need to update this video, maybe in the next couple of weeks. Hope it will shed more light on the topic.
