One thing as well, When you close the door on foxy and he bangs on it, he reduces the power by 1% the first time he knocks on the door. Then the amount of power he takes increases by 5% with each subsequent attack. For example, the second time he knocks, he will reduce the power by 6%, the third time by 11%, and so on. Amazing videos as well man!
watching this series as a developer within the godot environment made me realize how easy godot is to use, this fantastic developer used very simple but very effective solutions to the issues he encountered. nice work !
I always wanted to make my own game like fnaf in real time but I would just do a parodie like animate the animatronics Doing memes or something, thank you for inspiring me to do it!
HEY MAN!!!! Im glad that you back with us! Its so nice to see a progress with every video, it actually makes me happy, i'll look forward for next episode
at 2:05 you can notice that the power usage meter only increments once the door is fully closed, when i believe it's supposed to count as closed as soon as the first frame of the door animation is played (or, more simply put, when the player clicks the door button). this might seem like a minor nitpick but if the door isn't counted as closed as soon as the player clicks the door button it could potentially lead to the animatronics getting into the office while the door is closing, which wouldnt make sense.
@Speed-TV never noticed that, it looks so bizarre so i didn't realize it was correct :'] sorry for not looking if it was the case or not b4 posting it was like 3 am
also, i dont think its necessary, but maybe adding the halloween decorations or maybe features from the mobile port? idk. still a really good video, keep it up!
I cant tell from this video but does the game in its current state contain the camera stalling mechanic? for context, when watching a camera which contains any animatronic their movement opportunities will always be blocked, thus preventing them from moving. after enough movement blocks they'll just ignore it eventually and will also block out the monitor for a decent while.
Camera stalling is when having the camera on an animatronic prevents them from moving even when the camera is down. The only animatronic who has this feature is Freddy, but only when he's in the west hall corner.
just saw this after finishing my own fnaf in godot i was wondering if its okay for me to use some of your code as reference for some stuff to make things a little more accurate

11:22 Getting scared to your own game tells you how good it is already 😅

Each episode is getting really good. I'm very excited.

This is looking really good dude!
keep up the good work
Also! The only thing that's left on the cameras are the names of the restaurant areas
just wanna say ive been thoroughly enjoying this series! would be awesome to see u tackle FNAF 2 or something after
i met this guy in highschool. he remade fnaf 1, 2, and 3 in scratch too.
Great video. Loved seeing you get freddy jumps scared again lol

The usage meter waits for the door animation to finish, but the door is counted as toggled as soon as the button is clicked

fav Godot series, next remake Slanderman
I love watching these videos! Amzing watching how accurate you are to the game.
Dont forget, when the characters appear at your door and you use the light button a errie sound plays
Unless if you're going for the "FNAF in real time" route where it doesn't play an eerie sound.
@anyapeanutlover yeah but in this case he's trying to recreate fnaf accurately
You should make the hallucinations and rare screens after the core elements, cuz they're seem pretty easy to implement compared to the other things
really great episode! i like where this is going. btw where did you get the raw clickteam file for fnaf 1 from?
btw specifically when you shut the door, the usage meter immediately goes up by 1 instead of waiting for the animation to finish
also, i dont think its necessary, but maybe adding the halloween decorations or maybe features from the mobile port? idk. still a really good video, keep it up!
@nick-gamerOfficial The usage meter does wait for the door to finish
@@Speed-TV DANG IT I REMEMBERED WRONG IM SO SORRY :(
@@Speed-TV btw how did you get the raw clickteam file?
A funny idea is to add sparky the dog as a very very very very very rare easteregg
Dude ur and more TH-camr make games and the more I watch urs it makes me want to make my own game
I thought u were trolling for a minute becouze it is the EXACT same how did you manage that???? (My english is bad srry if there was any tpos)

i think you should add the ambiance sound

Sure!
🦊
Is it possible to get to playtest it? I don't mind it is very broken. I lowkey just wanna try it out for funs
@RonieSchmith I cannot because it would be piracy
Will you be open-sourcing this? Just a wonder, tho.
No
@Speed-TV crap. I was about to reverse engineer the save files.
@@bc100dev I did make a tutorial how to do save files. Although it's an old video so it's not really good
Do you have a Discord?
I used to but it's deleted now. Maybe one day I will
@Speed-TV yikes
