    To me, Elton and Billy are both winners in that little musical challenge.
    They’re both exceedingly talented and phenomenally skilled at the piano and seeing/hearing them combine (and show off) their distinct piano styles during the solo part of “Bennie and the Jets” so seamlessly is exciting on so many levels.
    Say what you will, but this was an epic performance on so many levels and they know how to play the shit out of a piano!

      These two don't make mistakes! lol. In my opinion (because I do it myself sometimes to have fun with a song and really change things up and get people thrown for a loop) that was all intentional. It doesn't always work on some songs but with this one I think the rhythm jig was just a display of some geniuses showing that they can throw something as crazy as that in and fall right back into the original rhythm of the song just to push things to the next level of interesting and talented. :-)

      Fanatical Dueling What Billy Joel does isn’t very basic, but, because he’s playing a lot of chromatic scales and chords, that can easily hide wrong notes and make it easier to play fast and bang away. Elton played much more complex chords and scale runs, and executed it perfectly with nary a wrong note. An incredible pianist he is indeed.

    • @fanaticaldueling6337
      @fanaticaldueling6337 6 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Nick Ramsburg But Elton is just a better composer/pianists. I’d say the song Indian Sunset is more difficult than anything Billy’s ever made. Look at him play it live now even. Elton’s music deals with the same thing but to a larger extent. And his improvised solo in Take Me To The Pilot is genius,
