Banjo did made his debut with the Red Squirrel in Diddy Kong Racing to be honest.
But in the DS version they were replaced with Dixie and Tiny Kong.

They are also neighbors in Redmond, WA! I think Microsoft sees any of its games its published or characters it owns on the Switch as a means to help promote future games they could appear on future Xbox platforms. I don’t believe Microsoft even sees Nintendo as a competitor. Otherwise Banjo, Lucky, maybe even Minecraft would all be Xbox exclusive.

@@IR4ndI0mIL0wIb0Ib It's an enhanced port of the original Super Lucky's Tail. That game was on Steam but was EXCLUSIVELY on Xbox One. It came out right when the XB1 X came out and was meant to be a showcase of how good it would look in 4k.
Actually it was originally an Oculus Rift exclusive.

It's like Conker & Tails fused as one with the platforming of every well known platformer fused as one... I like this.

@@24issiah63 There's only 2 main Croc games that got GameBoy Color versions after. Then some old mobile games but that's it. Argonauts went out of business long ago. It's unsure if we'll ever see Croc again.

Game King I know it's one of my favorite video games and it's impossible for there to be a sequel I just wish there was. Also there was going to be a third game for the ps1, Xbox, Ps2, and I think Sega Saturn and GameCube but that got cancelled.

Despite what reviewers said, the game on Xbox One was actually a really solid platformer. My only real issue was how short it was. Definitely a title I'm hyped for.

I absolutely loved this game on Xbox One X, and felt it was very underrated due to lack of exposure on a console that doesn't typically cater to this genre. To Switch owners that are curious but are fans of 3d platformers, definitely give this one a try. It's a game with a decent length with light collectathon elements that avoids being tedious or feeling padded, with enjoyable level designs full of bright colors and lush environments that have a bit to explore without being big enough to get lost, with a modest difficulty level that will keep avid gamers from getting bored while being simple enough to let the player feel relaxed as they go thru the game. Controls take some slight getting used to with certain jumps, but overall it controls well. Hopefully the Switch port performs well...Xbox One ran it at 30fps while the X Enhanced ran it at 60fps. Interested to see if Switch can run without framerate issues. It's not a Mario Odyssey replacement, but it's a worthwhile addition to the Switch library. I would say $39.99 or lower is a good price for what you get.
I'm glad you liked it on the Xbox. We're really doing something special with the Switch iteration. New story, level redesigns, new characters... it's a lot of fun!

If the next game was called "Conker's Good Fur Day" and it was about how Conker became clean and it was rated E, I would laugh so hard-
Looks like we're now officially back in the Rare Golden Age of Gaming. A very promising looking Yooka-Laylee, a much more exciting looking Super Lucky Tale, Banjo's name hitting like a meteor on a Nintendo platform. Gaming's been feeling dull and redundant for the past decade and I think this shift was one we've needed and for the one's who've stuck around this long the one we deserved.
Thank you Nintendo for never letting me down!

3D platformers almost died out, so glad they're back, it's my favorite genre. I need this game, the Spyro Reignited Trilogy, and A Hat in Time when that finally comes to Switch
I love the overall incredible resurgence platformers have had over the last few years
@@kevinfetters7040 Yeah same, they've been getting even more creative now that the technology we have allows them to go wild in terms of visuals, gameplay mechanics, and level design. Also the size of levels is pretty impressive too

The song is Kings & Queens by Chin-chin amd was also the opening theme to the show The Rookie starring Nathan Fillion. I found this after much research.
When I first saw this game on Xbox I wished it would’ve come to switch because it just seems like it fits so well with the console. Looks like my hopes are now a reality. Definitely one of Nintendo’s best presentations in a while. 👍
This game, as well as Yooka Laylee are perfect for the Switch. Add Spyro later on and we'll have a Platform Party...

While watching the stream on my tv the quality dropped to like 144p and I 100% thought this was Conker.

So I have Super Lucky's tail. BUT I've only started it and played like 5 mins. This is the same one but with some extras? Because I swear the fox runs on all 4's and not 2's like this and if it's a completely new game. You know if it'll be on PC as well? I'd rather play on PC for Steam Achievements but I'll grab on switch if it's a new game entirely and no steam release

Not really, plenty of games are published by a console maker, only to later appear on other platforms later on. Sony published Nioh, yet it released on PC, Microsoft published Rise of the Tomb Raider, still went to PS4. Just because a console maker publishes a game, doesn't mean they own it.

2019 video game trailer starter pack includes: Generic indie rock music with lots of “WHOA-OH-OHHH” vocal parts, spinning camera montage of unrelated events, and random bits of humor that are probably funnier in context
Right? I hate how predictable and obnoxiously put together a lot of trailers are, this one makes the game seem more generic than it is. Those indie rock vocals you refer to are a particular pet peeve of mine as well.

So, the original version was alright, they did tweak the gameplay and levels here and there, even adding in more dynamic cutscenes and more music.
People would dismiss this as just "A Kids game," but honestly, it's pretty decent, I certainly had fun playing it, even some of the puzzles really got me scratching my head
This song feels oddly unfitting for the game to me. I get it's just a trailer thing but when I think of 3D platformer my out of touch mind doesn't jump to this.
