Huge props, this is one of the few remix EPs of aes that feels like it really fits. The way he dances between the bars often confounds most beats, but these ones feel significantly more natural than others i've heard, and that takes WORK
Man, I know I am like, years late to the party, but holy shit this is good. I've replayed Acid king like, 4 times now, it just fits so well. Mesmerizing, really. Well done!!
Sounds like you have a lot of old late 90s Independent- East coast- boombap- and the cassette tape -walkman-batteries -are-about-to-die... Awesome thanks for the update.goodAnswer.
Lotta years knocks crazyy hard. I’ve listened to every Aesop song thousands of times but this is seriously the best shit i ever heard. I ran out of A.R. songs to listen to and couldn’t feel the tobacco beats anymore. Really needed to hear Sword Box. The ultimate banger. Thank you man.
One of the best things about AESOP ROCK is that he pushes the boundaries of hip hop and does different things. Using TOBACCO for the beats was a really inspired thing to do. TOBACCO also has solo albums and a very good band called BLACK MOTH SUPER RAINBOW. It's good to hear new things because you never know, you just might come to like it. Some of the best records I have I didn't like them on the first few listens but they grew on me and now are some of my favorites.
this remix is so next level. thanks for the download , ill honestly jam this until the day i die. i'm also not a fan of the original beats. i love the atmosphere you have created here. sword box is my jam. much respect .
Oh my God! I fucking hate Tobacco's production on the Malibu Ken album. The guy (or girl) only knows how to make 3 different sounds. Finished listening to this, thoroughly enjoyed it, checked out the comments. Never imagined for a SECOND that this was homemade/fanmade. It's superior to the original in every way. The lyrics really come alive when set to a decent backing. Please, for the love of God, do the rest of the album. Please. Well done you. x [EDIT: OK. I've realised now that you've done a few others. We're still missing 1+1=13 and Churro. I'd like to be able to listen to the whole album with zero Tobacco. Ironically I am a heavy smoker.]
Thanks bro. I'll be releasing vol 2 soon. Might do the whole album. I have to make the acapellas and not all of them were usable. I have to remake them again. I lost all my files.
@@ripk123 Listening to this again. Still epic. Quick question though. Are these famous beats you've nicked from elsewhere that I simply haven't recognised, or are you making up the beats too? I'm a rap connoisseur, but I'm not up with a lot of the modern stuff. I really hope it's not just an accapella layered over an old Kanye instrumental. Haha. I'm sure it's not.
I've grown to like the original... but this remix is the best! I just wish I had an Acid King remix individual track. I currently don't have a computer and I'm going to try to task my friend with that! Definitely one of the finishing touches on my Halloween themed hip hop album! This is brilliant, cheers to all that made it possible!
ripk123 from Acid King on it sounds like you took a different approach aesthetically. Busy hi hats 808’s bapTrap. Did you use same equipment. Sorry I’m a gear head. Curious what you used for this
Did you make these tracks or just lay the vocals over some instrumentals? Either way, dope, certainly. But if you made these for the songs(ESPECIALLY Acid King & ) You are fucking my hero. Acid King could not sound better eith any other track behind it. It literally mames me sit there with my mouth open just retarded looking. Kudos.

I simply can’t believe how good this whole E.P. is. I am truly shocked at how good these beats work with the lyrics.
Thanks bro. I tried to find beats that match the mood of the content. I'm not a fan of the original beats at all. Glad you're feeling it. ✌

Totally rad. Much improved.
ripk123 id love to have these instrumentals. Not to record over just to have fun rappin
@@ripk123 Controversial, but I agree. Tobacco did his thing but it just doesn't fit
@@ripk123Now do this to the Uncluded album and cut Kimya's vocals 👀
This man doing better work than 99% of the industry underground and mainstream both
🔥
I keep coming back man, this is excellent.

That's the best gift, I've received in a very long time. Thank you very much!
Favourite remix and title: Dog Years
One of my top 5 remix tapes lately!
Revisiting your work. Gotta say, still some of your remixes. You're any getting better with time

I prefer this version for sure. Tobacco is dope but I’m a rap dude. Great work
That’s a good way to put it man me too
Sick beats

WIDE ORBITZ! I luv it! 1:35
Yo!!!!
This is fucking dope!
🔥🔥🔥
Broooo!!! Killed it 🔥💯💯
This is DOPE........
#3, #4 and #6 are deadly!
Thanks bro. I really hated tobacco's beats. As soon as I found the instrumentals on TH-cam, I immediately went to work and made some acapellas.
@@ripk123 Do you think you could upload those acapellas if you still have them? I'd love to hear just Aes.
Keep doing what you’re doing. You’ve improved perfection.
Well done.
TY & I never really do these things...

well done
Spazz!
God damn sword box slams.
Nvm, this whole remix is fucking fire. Acid king remix is quality AF. Keep it up brother.
Dude that shit is fucking lit
Loved acid king
Good job 2020

@@ripk123 Keep up the good work, sir. It's all marvelous. You've given a bad album a new lease of life. I was so gutted when I first heard it.

What's the decryption key for the download link, I'd so much love to own this
It should be available to download without. I just checked.
hey man, nice work!
was it hard to cut the acapellas?
Thanks, no, it's a fairly simple process.

yo holy shit this is sixk
How'd you get these acapellas? Did you extract them yourself? I'm doing a remix of Corn Maze so that's why I'm curious.
Correct.
This is great but Tobacco's better.

Lol thanks. These are just blends I made. I don't make beats. Check out my Aes playlist for more mixes. 👊🏼
most of these slap, but Acid King whiffed pretty hard. I don't blame you tho, you just can not beat the original Acid King.
