And the fact, that he never finished it makes it even better, because he could only transfer to us how he felt the upcoming death. But the actual moment of dying everyone has to experience at its own. I'm deeply impressed by this piece and the opportunity to listen to these last notes of this genius. I always thought of music as a sort of shared communication. Our brain decodes it and thereby lets us feel something. Especially as someone with Aspergers I tend to see music as a doorway into the world of emotions, that I normally find very hard to grasp. With that in mind: For me, this kind of music is somewhat an echo of a bygone age. It has something astonishingly beautiful and powerful to it. Thanks for uploading my dude, I really appreciate it.

Erinnert mich unfassbar an die Szene in The Crown, wo Prinz Philip in Darmstadt hinter dem Sarg seiner Schwester läuft. Gänsehaut, vorallem für mich als Darmstädter.

Ja ab der Barockzeit ist die deutsche Nation, auch wenn sie staatlich zersplittert war, zu einem kulturellen Riesen geworden, der sich locker mit allen anderen Zivilisationen der Menschheit messen kann.
Eigentlich 70% von dem, was wir heute "Klassik" nennen, stammt aus Deutschland/Österreich. Den Rest teilen sich im Wesentlichen Italien (Antonio Vivaldi, Rossini) und Russland (Tschaikowski, Prokofjew) und ein paar kleinere Länder wie Ungarn (Bartok) und Tschechien (Smetana). Das Werk der deutschen Klassiker ist fast unübersichtlich groß.
@@Andrea-1516 Hallo Andrea , ich höre solche Musik nur ab und wann, aber dann mit großer Freude. Normalerweise ziehe ich bei Musik eine härter Gangart vor. Eigentlich lege ich mich da nicht fest , von Klassischer Musik , Rock, Schlager , Marschmusik bis hin zu düsterem Metal höre ich alles gerne wenn es mich erfreut (Stimmungssache). Ich liebe z.b PAVAROTTI das kam aber erst als ich älter würde . Lacrimosa hat Mozart glaube ich nie zu Ende geschrieben. Er ist währenddessen sehr jung gestorben. Ich glaube Xaver Süßmayr hat es vollendet. 🎹🎻
Good evening Dr.Ludwig. Last Sunday (May 29, 22) I went to see Mozart's Requiem at the Saint Thomas Church in Strasbourg. It has been performed by the Prague Opera Chorus and the Philharmonic Orchestra of the Czech Republic. It was magnificent, they sang a splendid Lacrimosa. At the Saint Thomas Church you can see the Silbermann organ which Mozart played when he was in Strasbourg in 1778. If one day you pass through Strasbourg, you can go and see it. I don't have the right to post photos of this organ without the agreement of the Constistorium (it's a protestant church), but you can see the photos on the internet. The Saint Thomas Church in Strasbourg is located in the historic district of "La Petite France" 🎹❤

Erinnert mich unfassbar an die Szene in The Crown, wo Prinz Philip in Darmstadt hinter dem Sarg seiner Schwester läuft. Gänsehaut, vorallem für mich als Darmstädter.

Wusste gar nicht dass das Stück Deutsch ist (hätte man sich ja irgendwo denken können). Man merkt echt wie viele wichtigen/berühmten Stücke aus Deutschland/Österreich kommen!
Ja ab der Barockzeit ist die deutsche Nation, auch wenn sie staatlich zersplittert war, zu einem kulturellen Riesen geworden, der sich locker mit allen anderen Zivilisationen der Menschheit messen kann.
Eigentlich 70% von dem, was wir heute "Klassik" nennen, stammt aus Deutschland/Österreich. Den Rest teilen sich im Wesentlichen Italien (Antonio Vivaldi, Rossini) und Russland (Tschaikowski, Prokofjew) und ein paar kleinere Länder wie Ungarn (Bartok) und Tschechien (Smetana).
Das Werk der deutschen Klassiker ist fast unübersichtlich groß.

@@Andrea-1516 Hallo Andrea , ich höre solche Musik nur ab und wann, aber dann mit großer Freude. Normalerweise ziehe ich bei Musik eine härter Gangart vor. Eigentlich lege ich mich da nicht fest , von Klassischer Musik , Rock, Schlager , Marschmusik bis hin zu düsterem Metal höre ich alles gerne wenn es mich erfreut (Stimmungssache). Ich liebe z.b PAVAROTTI das kam aber erst als ich älter würde . Lacrimosa hat Mozart glaube ich nie zu Ende geschrieben. Er ist währenddessen sehr jung gestorben. Ich glaube Xaver Süßmayr hat es vollendet. 🎹🎻

Good evening Dr.Ludwig. Last Sunday (May 29, 22) I went to see Mozart's Requiem at the Saint Thomas Church in Strasbourg. It has been performed by the Prague Opera Chorus and the Philharmonic Orchestra of the Czech Republic. It was magnificent, they sang a splendid Lacrimosa. At the Saint Thomas Church you can see the Silbermann organ which Mozart played when he was in Strasbourg in 1778. If one day you pass through Strasbourg, you can go and see it. I don't have the right to post photos of this organ without the agreement of the Constistorium (it's a protestant church), but you can see the photos on the internet. The Saint Thomas Church in Strasbourg is located in the historic district of "La Petite France" 🎹❤

Die hätte ich gerne gesehen. Dicht gedrängt stehen die überlebenden Figuren nun in der Zitadelle Spandau.... Eines Tages, ja eines Tages, so mein Wunsch, stehen sie wieder im Tiergarten. Der Zeitgeist geht allerdings gerade streng in die andere Richtung.
