Yes - Trump was for democracy vs Biden for presidential orders betraying every US and western citizen. The US has let a pack of wolves in sheep's clothing take over their country. They didn't have to offer the Ukraine a partnership in NATO and threaten Putin with nuclear missiles within a minute's flying time of Russia. They knew that if they did, he would respond both militarily and economically. They knew that they were engineering a war that would damage both food and fuel supplies to the west and increase the cost of living for the poorest people in the world.
Now Biden is backing the madness of the UN sabotage of more food autonomy across the west, in Canada, in the Netherlands and in the US and more madness to come. they are forcing farmers into bankruptcy and increasing poverty and hardship in Europe and North America, but the knock-on effect is going to mean famine and starvation in countries where people are already unable to even feed themselves on less than a dollar a day. This is engineering death - and that is the legacy of Biden, Trudeau, Rutte, Schwab and those who vote for or back their ideas. Their blood is on the hands of those who are cynically called 'democrats'.

Stuart Stevens is the only "former Republican" telling it like it really is and was. He seems to be one of the few who acknowledge the GOP's primary issues have to do with race because those issues they talk about calling Democrats out on usually involve people neither the Republican party nor its constituents have shown any interest in since looooooooong before Trump. @@reason6835 First off America is a Republic that are Founding Fathers went to great lengths to make sure it was Not a Democracy with majority strong hand hold over all the people. So, they made sure that State Rights & the states Constitution came before the Federal Government of Washington DC.
The U.S Constitution was drafted to Limit the Power & Scope of Government to a minimum over the people.

Look I've considered myself an Independent all my life. I voted for who I thought was the better man/woman. But after Trump spreading lies that the election was stolen, and no Republican leaders standing up and saying no Donald you lost fair and square, I made my mind up to never vote for a Republican again. We teach our children and grandchildren to do the right thing in life. Sometimes you win sometimes you lose. We console them when they hit bumps in the road. We don't say next time just change the rules if something doesn't go your way. If only Trump's parents had instilled that in him.

I'm afraid that winning the Democrats wouldn't make things any better. The Republicans would become even more aggressive. They are radicalizing at a rate that is frightening. Some openly call for gun violence in the media and are not even held accountable for it! Does everyone think it will remain peaceful? I see the danger but would rather stick my head in the sand? The double standard is salt in a wound. It’s fairly disheartening when the left is told their well researched and thoughtful ideas are ‘radical’ and ‘extremist’, and making any demands or challenging any authority shows just how unrealistic and out of touch they are. Think of something like the Green New Deal, that was a very solid blue print for restoring national vitality and the best way to deal with climate change while helping people. It was vilified, or dismissed. Yet now we have an incomplete climate plan, and radical far right uprising - but good thing those dangerous socialists were prevented from solving our worst problems! All I’m seeing is if you want something in America, you need to scream the loudest, threaten violence and try to overthrow the government. To be fair, I think the left is smarter than that, but it sure points out the bias in politics.
What you do? As a regular republicans? If you ever want a normal republican party? Switch to independent to vote full down ticket Democrat. Only a very solid rejection of the Trump Legislators will work and it won't be instantly fixed. You might just have to accept Democrats for a few years. Tom Nichols point about the "grind" and "boringness" of ordinary life that some conservatives rail against is, I think, reasonably accurate - but not completely. Some do reject that proposition, AND Im not sure they are wrong about it - at least not entirely. That is, its the wide and heavy corporatism which has locked down lifestyle and markets and behaviours to such an extent that true innovation, innovative living and actual wholesome living IS being compromised. Some Conservatives recognise this mistake, but using Trump to try to achieve that objective AND also being compromised by the christian right AND by corporates themselves has actually harmed the cause more than doing any good at all.

I'm sad to say, but my only voting option is Democrats.
I don't support the vast majority of Democrat policies, but at least they constantly propose something, even if their bills are stupid and often die on the Senate floor. However, I was impressed with their recent bills, even though I believe most of that money is going to go to waste due to bureaucracy and red tape.
When was the last time Republicans proposed a single bill or a solution to any number of our county's issues (Besides Tax Cuts, Attacking Voting Rights and Abortion)??? There has to be something else, I'll accept anything at this point, besides their do nothing and blame others approach.

You couldn’t word it better, I was affiliated to the Republican Party when I first started voting now I’m independent. The republicans are now an autocratic anti democracy political party with no platform except what you said focused on cultural issues instead of governing and bring bills to the floor. No legislative contribution and if a democrat candidate that wants to follow law and order and uphold the democracy ; they are getting my vote. Look in Florida DeSantis passing bills that judges determined unconstitutional because it disregards the 1st amendment and other bills that teachers have not even explained exactly what they expect from them and now there are shortages of teachers nationwide because they are targeting them and in addition not paid well job and now they can be sue because one student felt uncomfortable or bullied by the teachings is absurd.

It’s not only Trump responsible for this radical change. I have a lot of family members that are conservative and have been radicalized by watching Fox every day. Not only Fox hosts but all of the GOP reps who lie and cast doubt on our system are responsible as well.

This happened in the UK. After years of Labour MPs refusing to do what their constituents had voted for and support the result of the Brexit referendum, millions of them voted for Conservative candidates, for the sole purpose of breaking the log-jam.
