I think that the dead wood concept makes sense. why make it longer no structural support doesn't occur? Function over form for everything aiming top performance
i see a lot of basebarrs close to the f hole, (top he top round opening of the f hole), your seems to be more far away from it?, what is the rule for this?
Different schools say different things. I have the middle joint as a guideline for where to start. If the F´s are close to each other, the bar ends up close to the hole. Also if the instrument is assymetric, it could influence the look.
