    3:42 this was the only advice I needed... I was only trying classic cars like the integrale and was totally frustrated, because I absolutely couldn't drive it >.<
    now I got me an Impreza (2000cc) and it drives sooo well :)
    now I can do those hairpins like in action movies 😛
    but I still can't drive the cars in any WRC game >.< either it's me or Dirt Rally 2 is much better

    Keep up the videos buddy.. I would request maybe bringing out a series of videos showing how you would tackle each of the races in each map. (Basically showing what buttons or like what angle you would take each corner at as a walkthrough bases. I understand it will take a long time. But id definitely tune in if you were to take it up ;)

      That would be quite the undertaking! I wouldn't expect them anytime soon, but in the mean time, look up WR attempts on TH-cam - there are some amazing drivers around the world

      @beatakikovska1389 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Awesome. Thanks for the reply. My point is , there’s one thing being an amazing driver and another being an average driver (in addition using a controller). Most WR if not all I guess use a wheel. I don’t. Also I wanted to ask, am on PS4 , is there any way to cross platform?

    • @manic_driver8751
      @manic_driver8751  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@beatakikovska1389 they may use a wheel, but the lines should be all the same. It's a good place for inspiration
      on ps4, I think you can change leaderboard filters to global to include PC racers. you can also in time trials select ghosts in the leaderboards to see what lines people are taking, though that will be harder to follow.

    AWD is quite a can of worms. It's crazy how slim is the line between having and losing control of these vehicles. Yesterday I had and event on tarmac in Spain in Dirt Rally 2 and I just jumped from FWD to AWD and just holy crap it was extremely tough to finish tracks at all, especially with decent times. Some times the breaking completely locks and I just understeer down the cliff other times I break tight corners with no problem. The tire wear is insane and sometimes a single bump to the side may puncture them and if you lose one of the tires, might as well throw in the towel at that point, because then control is non existent.

    When I drive AWD cars the rear keeps going out of line and banging into the sides of the road. Any tips for that?

    • @manic_driver8751
      @manic_driver8751  4 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Hmm, if it's a driving issue, decrease controller sensitivity OR reduce toe angle (more toe in) in the rear. You can also try more front toe in. Also try reducing speed until you regain control.
      If it's a car issue, you can try loosening rear suspension (softer spring rates, ARBs, softer dampers). More advanced would be to check the differentials - moving everything to the right will make the car's handling more predictable. Most important is torque bias - some cars have it, some don't. Change it to 50% for an easier drive.

      I absolutely do I only use a controller and I hope about 15 world record between dirt poor and direct 2. 0 Dallas might be a little while but I'll try to make it short and sweet turn your it's about your steering being too high there three ways of setting your steering Express flying sensitivity if you're brand-new he's a game turn to about 30 otherwise have it about 50 to 60 second one is binary which is just as a way of saying that lower number to quicker to turn when you got all the way to Jannah at times slower even though I listen to Hootie and the dead zone everything else is still the same I hope you understand what I mean the3 rd one is staring dead zone that is the same as all that sounds just means you want him also at 1 because the special Kristie controller that's obviously I'll let you saw is all I know about the more you haven't turned the higher you have it turned up the last button you have to get to use for whatever that button thing to do like throttle is the right trigger and you have a dead zone at one you can use the whole throttle to go from 1 to 100% acceleration you have a say 50 that does Allen they only have half the trigger to go from nothing to 100% I hope you stay with me last one saturation is also the same there with every other one you just leave it at a hundred anything higher than a hundred Reverend that's very well it would you let us out like if it's 110 steering saturation you wouldn't turn as much As you would if it was set at 100 which 100 is all the way I know it's kind of backwards and weird but once you understand what I mean she don't play some right now you should hang out with end up just like if you just put him at the number to tells you you will have no problem like that softly the best you can you can't do any better as far as paint colors go don't hurt and there are a bunch of videos out there that works I got to do your controller setting and they're telling you the wrong shit so you're slower Costco Micah I hear all the time turn your sensitivity up to 90 I had mine started and the 20 at the most of the four months ahead of the game I don't have it for a year today I made for poor world record runs n a R 5 PEGOUT T16 FROM DIRT 4.. JUST FYI I DON'T KNOW IF YOU HAVE WRC YET I JUST GOT WIC 9 AND IT'S HORRIBLE IT'S SO DISAPPOINTING WELL AS FAR AS I WORK WITH A CONTROLLER AND I EVEN HAVE A DIRT RALLY A LITTLE BIT BETTER BUT PRETTY MUCH THE SAME IT'S LIKE YOUR CAR DON'T WANT ANYTHING IN YOUR ON ICE AND WATER WHAT THERAPY FOR NOW AND DIRT 4 PROJECT CARS AND I SAID OF COURSE SIZE THAT PLAY SOMETHING ELSE LIKE SHOOTING GAMEt 100 is 100% throttle said it was gen it only has 95% throttle if you go lower it just goes from 0 to 100 reset breaker and if you turn the dead zone up and saturation down it goes from The Dead Zone number play the saturation saturation of The Dead Zone number so super quick

    • @hunteraff5872

      Na Fr though, 4WD is 50 torque bias using a transfer case. AWD = custom torque bias using gear ratios

    If I find im hitting the opposite side (i.e. running wide) on corners, is this because I'm aiming too early for the apex or driving too quickly (probably both)?

    • @manic_driver8751

      Probably entering the corner too quickly - make sure to let off the brake so the car can steer. Important thing is to keep your eyes looking to where you want to go, even if you can't see around the corner. The car will do the rest, hopefully

    • @carlos2004
      @carlos2004 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      sounds like understeer, especially since you mentioned fwd. brake a little earlier, and turn as you let go of the brake; that will transfer the weight to the front wheel (but not lock them up) and allow to you grip for the turn. this will make the car slide through the corner, and with fwd, then just go right back on the gas to pull you out of the corner.
      EDIT: if the corner is really tight, (1 or hairpin) try doing the scandinavian flick he shows in the videos as with fwd, you can't get the back to slide out.

    What class would you recommend starting in?

    • @manic_driver8751
      @manic_driver8751  4 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      The starter car is excellent for beginners, after that, it depends on your credits. H2 FWD and H3 RWD good for learning those drivetrains and making cash. Group A is excellent first AWD class

    • @manic_driver8751
      @manic_driver8751  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I love the game so I have all the DLC. If you can get the year one pass on sale, that might be the best.

    • @carlos2004
      @carlos2004 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@thezestyfishfinger1284 just a heads up. dlc is on sale right now. there's one for $6 that includes season 3 and 4 content plus the new flat out pack. personally, i wanted all the content so i just got the full season pass (currently $13) and it does include the flat out pack as well.
      as for starting class, basically what manic said. if you have enough creds, i would go for nr4 for starting awd, they are slower and have more heft while class a starts to get pretty fast. as for group b, maybe try it out but i wouldn't recommend it at all for beginners since they are uncontrollable beasts and still baffles me why they are so cheap although they are the hardest to handle. in dirt 1, they were simply fast, but in dirt 2.0, they feel untamed.
