@damianoferro you can see misha being so careful with it when it's not in a straight line. Those big turbos are hard to work with, you cross that torque line in a mid engine car and it isn't very forgiving!

@@robertdoyle4098more fast doesn't always mean more entertaining though. Something like a Caterham would be hilarious because it's like driving a wheelbarrow compared to a complex supercar or something.

That engine, when it's on boost, sounds so mad, like "come on, rev the crap out of me"
Now I didn't expect to see this! When these came out I went to the dealer as a teenager to sit in one for the hell of it. They had changed the intake to reduce the turbo noise but he said customers complained about that and it was changed back to be louder.
These cars allways have a place in my heart as my uncles old company built the first load of m12’s at noble motor sport, I went out with Lee noble the guy who designed it in the first ever one made as a kid 👍

A car built like that does make me question why not have ABS at the very least.
I mean, if you need better cornering in a non race spec version of a car built exactly like a racecar, maybe the engineering is not so great after all.
@@TonicofSonic@TonicofSonic It is just speculation, but I guess buying and integrating an ABS that would perform well on a race track for a tiny company like Noble in the early 2000s might have not been easy/feasible.
@@dominikslonecki That is a very fair assessment. That also brings with it exclusivity of the non abs "extreme" style car class.

That would be the Yumyum Racing TimeAttack Noble you’re talking about. That guy keeps setting class lap records every time it goes out it seems. Beating full on factory built race cars worth many times its value. These are incredible cars. You should check out their page on TH-cam too.
Owner dude is fighting the age gremlin successfully! 50ish years old, almost definitely on TRT, works out regularly, and probably did some push-ups prior to filming, from pit sweat, and the wrinkled wick shirt that show how he definitely showed off his abs, not to mention the perfect amount of hairline contour that only good money can buy. I'd say he's winning the age game, and still in the fast lane! Big up's for being a total bro, for those of us that can't afford it =).
Misha's met his match when it comes to holding a poker face. lol
this car is a car for experienced drivers for sure. definitely not for a regular average person like 95% of us. what a machine.

The speed difference between the two laps was mega. You could definitely tell you were holding back the first lap. It’s also unreal that it’s a ford mondeo V6 that’s in the back of these :P

I have never seen Misha with so much respect, and he has driven very expensive and powerful cars, this car is special.

TVR, Lotus, Ariel, Caterham - all English. Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales (all British) have nothing when it comes to car manufacturers and mototsport. As such, it's better to say you love the English track day cars, rather than Brtitish, as it's solely England in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and N. Ireland who produces them.

@honda4185 lol, actually I checked my DMs for specs and it said 500. I guess we downgraded.
Crank vs wheel HP
After the remap, we were struggling to hold boost with the fitted actuators. Long story short previous owner refurbished turbos and they fitted wrong actuators. Only found when having car mapped after new ecu, so new actuators are coming, so will easily make 500bhp.
Got to love those slightly sketchy cars 😂 less confidence inspiring but still fun to drive!

Awesome car and video, been waiting for this one! Recently bought a very similar spec M12 GTO-3R and absolutely love it, it's incredible. Looking forward to my first few track days (at a slower pace than Misha!).
Great to see a Noble on the channel. My mate had an M400 version back in the day, still one of the fastest things I've been in!
Dream car since I raced with that Noble in "World Racing 2" PC game. It was so cool when I played it as a kid.

Ultima & Noble are two brands that I really love, but undoubtedly they also not the easiest car to drive at limits.

Had an M400 with the engine and transmission built by Rouch for 500HP, and the car was fully laden with all fluids the car was 2400 Lbs, and boy, was it such a fun car to drive (but not on the Nurburgring). A really fun car!

ST170 Focus in front as you pulled out for the first lap. Probably the best fwd handling car I’ve had and I’m a Honda guy! Great laps as always Misha, Noble is just down the road from me 🙌
Noble makes great drivers cars. This car is pretty much the "pre-facelifted" version of the M400 and then they have the M600, which is a beast of a sports car itself.
That owner had veins on his upper arms that looked like a river delta in Africa!! He might rip the steering wheel off!! Nice car, I like the shed built British cars!!
