I have found i HAVE to keep the puck flush with the toe and ice....keeping contact with the ice.....i do the zorro with left arm only....wide spread like this video....when i make a smaller Zorro..into a " stir the soup" motion...i use both hands....

Do you have wax on your stick to allow the puck to stick to the blade at the start of the move?

Yea, it helps make the puck stick onto the blade easier, but it's not completely necessary. Just keep practising! -Carter

I wax my stuck every 15 minutes or sooner...hahahahaja...seriously...and wipe the snow off the blade!!!!... crappy, wet ice makes it very difficult....
