I know it won't happen, but I want him on the devils so badly. Trevor and Jack Hughes have such a connection on the ice, and both make the most creative plays.
I normally wouldn’t commend someone who is deemed to be a ‘young show off’ player… But not only is he amazingly talented which I completely respect… more importantly than his ‘moves’… he genuinely is having fun and there’s some humility going on when you watch him communicate with his teammates and other players! Thats totally where it’s at. Datsyuk is still the best to ever play the game though. That title is not going anywhere, anytime soon. 😁😐😉
Yes, but if you're putting those moves in the back of the net, its not really showing off. And Yes, needs to work on that +/- Datsyuk would play D like this guy plays O. And still take home that Lady Byng
I've never seen such casual skill in picking the Puck up. At one point of time, and I'm serious about it, not now or in two years, but maybe in seven or ten or so, the NHL will forbid picking the Puck up. They will call it "The Zegras Rule".
Zegras' skillset is undeniably impressive but high-end talent is so impressive these days that, as of today (April 7, 2023), Pastrnak has almost as many goals (57) as Zegras has points (60).
And as a Ducks fan, he’s truly gone magician mode and disappears off the ice most nights. Don’t @ me with “defense metrics” 🥴 that top line is struggling. Carlsons hat trick was PP based so don’t tell me that line is going
I don’t even watch hockey but damn. This kid seems nice as shit. Can a hockey fan tell me who he’d b if he was a nba player? Kid looks like a kyrie to me but idk hockey terms
Zegras is a joy to watch but he needs to become more efficient in order to become a top 30 player in the league. He definitely got the skills and talent for it.
I like zegras but like my coach growing up would tell me if i keep playing cute I’ll be benched. I used to pull off these moves back when I played in my hs college days which were 2009-2016. Coaches don’t like that fancy shit for some reason
@@Falom yea but from a coaches standpoint it creates heat and you will become more of a target which will lead to injuries because every team is going to start taking massive hits on you for playing fancy.
Hes on a bad team and he only tries crazy shit when there isnt a high percentage chance to score. This is what every young player on a bad team should look like.
no hate but honestly he just copies other players for example the lacrosse move, svechnikov did it first, and the no look pass, teravienin did it first sorry for bad spelling
so whats the point of your statement mate? nowadays every move which is done by a player has already been done in the past, thats not the point of this video. just watch the video and achknowledge the skillset this kid has
yeah and players did those things before them. outside of the first person to ever play hockey, everyones a copy cat. hes playing the game, those things are part of it.
Unbelievable hands. I thought Kane was amazing, but Zegras takes it to another level and Kane is incredible.
Kane was better edit: but now Zehra’s is
Imagine them in a same line
Its like kane and crosby in one lol
Relax. He has 2 little moves. Spinaround pass and some fancy lacrosse moves. Hes a star but his numbers are average
Patrick kane or evander kane?
I know it won't happen, but I want him on the devils so badly. Trevor and Jack Hughes have such a connection on the ice, and both make the most creative plays.
Your devils are a fricken joke 😅😅😅
Trevor Zegras is the reason I started to like hockey again
This kid is absolutely amazing.
this kid is the next NHL great! He's on a whole other level!
No he isn't lmfao. 2 points in 12 games this season. Yes he has that 1 highlight reel goal, but that's it
once his game matures, hes going to be even filthier
I'm so happy he is on the ducks!
The MOST AMAZING HANDS I have ever seen!!!
By far the most impressive thing to me is him scoring that goal blindfolded.
6:28 - The perfect first goal to herald what was to come.
One of my favourite players

@@gpglicious plus minus is inaccurate, but yea defense is important
this man is a god damn wizard
I don't understand how the puck just decides to stay on the blade of his stick lol
As a red wings fan I love Zegras reminds me of Datsyuk.
He would look good on the Lighting 😂
Weird when you watch a clip like this and see the footage from your own video that you recorded on it, lol.
Sonny and z were the best duo
Bro Zegras pulling out these moves like he’s Pavel Datsyuk

Amazing😵😵😵😵
As a ducks fan I have seen all of this
The NHL's Greek freak.
He's not from Greece? Is he?
@@terrencewpg6902
Is U.S born but parents are both from Greece.
Bettman gets moist every time there’s a Zegras highlight ong 💀😂
I love hockey
So excited for Zegras and Bedard next season
😂😂😂😂😂
Bedard will never be this good
😂😂😂😂😂😂
I know it hurts but don’t be foolish. Two different levels.
@@thescrolls9190 i will screenshot this, and in the end of next season i will send this to you laughing my ass off 😂
He reminds of Antony from man united
ZeGoat
Nice
Reminds me of Patrick Kane.
Ducks will be a wagon soon
How does Zegras play shiny?
So thankful he is a Duck.
I can do the Michigan so if I get behind the net in a game you know what I’m doing
Zegras' skillset is undeniably impressive but high-end talent is so impressive these days that, as of today (April 7, 2023), Pastrnak has almost as many goals (57) as Zegras has points (60).
I always wonder why the ducks GM let Milano walk,he was finding his game n had good chemistry with Zegras
Lol he wasn’t that good bud. Zegras made him look better than he was.
And as a Ducks fan, he’s truly gone magician mode and disappears off the ice most nights. Don’t @ me with “defense metrics” 🥴 that top line is struggling. Carlsons hat trick was PP based so don’t tell me that line is going
Unbelievable that Connor Bedard will be there next season what an exciting young team
Just not to be unfortunately
This is so sad
Putting a Chipotle logo on the USA jersey is sacrilegious.
how
What the hell... he must be cheating or smth. Insane talent
Ducks are VERY lucky to have him…can’t stress that enough since the Ducks are not the greatest team this season 😒
well for the announcers it is not a goal you can score in lacrosse
He might be good at hockey
man I was he played with Canada
🧙♂️🧙♂️🦆
My favorite player
mike will
wya dixie
gravity and physic didn't work around him 🥱
A lot of wax on the tape .
I don’t even watch hockey but damn. This kid seems nice as shit. Can a hockey fan tell me who he’d b if he was a nba player? Kid looks like a kyrie to me but idk hockey terms
Amazing hands but he overdid some otherwise his goals would've doubled.
Can you make the one of Zegras being a crybaby whining little girl for 8 minutes?
Zegras is a joy to watch but he needs to become more efficient in order to become a top 30 player in the league. He definitely got the skills and talent for it.
he has potential to be next mcdavid
Not with his points compared to mcdavid😅
Mcdavid is so fast he doesn't need fancy moves. He just skates around everyone.
Not even close dude.

It's a boomer mindset, if it works for him (and it does work in spades), it works. They don't ask you how, they ask you how many
@@Falom yea but from a coaches standpoint it creates heat and you will become more of a target which will lead to injuries because every team is going to start taking massive hits on you for playing fancy.

He’s an nhl player, you’re sitting on your couch reminiscing about your glory days when you peaked in HS, grow up, and shut up.
damn greatest player ever
A year later, zegras is a joke 😂
Besides McDavid he might possibly be the best in the NHL
Don't disrespect Datsyuk with this crap
Hes a new breed of player. Just enjoy..
softer hands than datsyuk for sure mate :D

i didn't realize teravienin was the first person to do a no look pass. AND svechnikov invented the michigan?! I guess scevhnikov is from michigan??

His numbers are pretty average
lol he played with 4th liners under the worst coach of all time, context buddy
