Whomever mic'ed the drums and is doing the recordings, kudos. Some of the best quality drum recordings I've heard on TH-cam. Really allows Sina to shine.
As I always say, Absolutely the best by far!!! SINA ROCKS TOTALLY!!! Straight from my Heart I am totally your Biggest fan HEAR IN The Heart Land KANSAS🇺🇸🇺🇸!!
Mercy, Miss Sina, doing a little punk rock there. Great job. That's what you call putting the foot pedal to the metal. Liked your foot work. As usual we can chalk up another fine performance by you Miss Sina, on drums.
The song - "Should I Stay or Should I Go" by the UK punk rock band the Clash was released on June 10, 1982. It was reissued a number of times in different countries, with various B-sides from 1982 to '83. Although Rolling Stone ranked it, in 2004, at #228 on 500 Greatest Songs of All Time, the original release peaked at #45 on Billboard's Hot 100 and #17 on UK Singles. When it was reissued 10 years later, it became the band's only #1 UK Singles hit after it was used in a Levi's jeans commercial. The album that it came from, "Combat Rock", did better, peaking at #7 on Billboard's Pop albums in 1983, and #2 on the UK Albums Chart in 1982. "Rock the Casbah", also from "Combat Rock" was popular as well and charted better in the US reaching #8 on Billboard's Hot 100. Lead guitarist Mick Jones sang the lead vocals. Rhythm guitarist, the late Joe Strummer, sang the backing vocals, along with Joe Ely, in Ecuadorean Spanish - a spur of the moment decision. They got the Ecuadorean mother of their tape operator to translate the lyrics for them. The song has an infectious garage band style guitar pattern and drummer Topper Headon provides a driving beat. The double time chorus adds to the interest! "Should I Stay or Should I Go", while originally pondering on ending a relationship, today has become something of a catchphrase on dealing with everything from Brexit to immigration to changing jobs and more! The drum cover - The drums are a major element of this song and Sina has done Topper Headon proud. The drum sound, on the cover, is very much improved. I think it makes the track a lot fresher and more modern. Very nice work! The icon - This is Katie Tavara, the younger sister of Nicolette, our original masked lady! Katie is a rep for Iconomed. They supply everything from catheters to CAT Scanners, and she dropped by to see if the Iconology Clinic needed anything. She's wearing one of their latest products, an anti-catarrh mask. Katie told us that her sister had recently been to Catalonia and Kathmandu and would be back from vacation in a couple of weeks.
Thanks again Juliet for all the information. And so fast ! I'm almost sure you called Sina this morning. I hope Nicolette don't get lost in the Anapurna complex.
Hey Joe, you disappointed me :); Kathmandu is the capital of the Kingdom Nepal. West of the capital is Pokkhara, go north and you're in the mountains. If you want to know more ask Juliet she's a walking encyclopedia. :)))
Plus one for a bit of British punk! As much as I love it, it's nice to have a bit of diversion form the usual classic rock :-). So tight on skins here Sina and I was completely taken off guard by the Sina-ised chorus. That was a VERY tidy little display :-). Nice work again. Lovin' the drum sound!
As always I am impressed....I long for every Friday to discover new great drum beats from you Sina! You really makes my weekends! Nice and tight drum beat.....it seems easy, but it is not - trust me......keep up the good work!!
Hey Sina - your drum covers are awesome! Perfect performing, sound precision so thank you . I am really enjoying the covers :) . Regards sending Lukas from Czech Republic :)
Sina, you are an awesome young lady! Not to mention an awesome drummer! 2 of my favorite drummers were Ron Bushy(Iron Butterfly) and Danny Seraphine(Chicago Transit Authority). I was listening to In-A Gadda-Da Vida(Iron Butterfly) and I'm A Man(CTA) and enjoying hearing 2 of the best drummers ever. I began to wonder if you could record theses 2 songs and play with the accuracy you have when you are using your talent? My immediate thoughts - YES YOU CAN! I would be totally blessed to hear you play these 2 songs. You did an excellent job with 25 or 6 to 4(Chicago's 2nd Album). Thanks! Keep using your talent God has blessed with you! You keep receiving the blessings because you are using them to share!
So you’ve covered some Clash, too, Sina. Anything goes for you. Ha, you have a nice info-icon at the top of the screen, which says: Too simple? So you say! Well, it’s so good to hear you do this cover with respect and great style. My favorite drummer :)
You definitely should stay, Sina! I like this - there's lots of toms and double beaters. All at once, there are 456 thumbs up. You're now at 204K Subs and looking good! The comments are enlivening and very informative / educational :))
I met Joe Strummer while he was playing an acoustic set of Clash songs for HMV (back in the day) He would have totally LOVED this! He always said ''music was for the people, no matter what''. Sina always proves that talent shines beyond everything. I want to claim Sina as an honorary English Woman now LOL :)
Hi Sina this cover was a bit of a surprise I thought you were going to do your green screen video but this is a great cover and an excellent job as always you can’t go wrong with a bit of the Clash. Brilliant loved it.
Wow Sina what else can be said?? You are by far the best Drummer I have heard in a very long time... I've have watched your channel for a little over a year.. You were great then and improved 10000X since then.. Just love listening to your covers,, as well as your originals.. The original I like best was NO SIR.. The reason was the coat.. And the comments about the cold.. I guess some people just didn't get the humor..
To all the youngsters out there that watched this classy girl play the drums and play them well...Take a pointer from this girl...What's the point?...You can do ANYTHING and do it well...Put a little practice in what you do, and your off to success !
"Too simple?"?! Seriously Sina?:P Kiddo, everything you play looks "too simple" :D That's your gift! That's your talent. At the same time you also bring out the strength behind each beat, no matter how simple or complex it may be. In that way you make it unique. This is an iconic song, even if the beat isn't insanely complex. Sometime it's good just to feel the waves, you know, not be always on the crest. It adds to the completeness of the experience. Don't go looking for the edge all the time. It does good to pool back a little every once in a while and simply enjoy the flow. :)
