From what I understand and spoke with a head of police in Paraguay, only 1 citizenship is allowed. So when one need to discard their current citizenship and only take the Paraguay one, as Paraguay does not support dual citizenship. Have you actually did the process yourself?

Thank you for the comment and for sharing your experience 😃 That is correct! Paraguay only allows dual citizenship for citizens with Spanish or Italian citizenships at the moment. Any other citizenships must be renounced if one wants to retain their citizenship. We could have done a better job of clarifying that during this video. Appreciate your feedback. That's outdated. Now you just need to pay a service fee and submit a couple documents for residency
