- New McLaren Formula 1 driver Daniel Ricciardo has a hugely busy pre-season diary. Now he’s part of the McLaren family alongside team-mate Lando Norris, Daniel gets to drive McLarens with two seats as well as one - and jumped at the chance to try out the new McLaren Artura high-performance hybrid supercar. Daniel is enjoying the McLaren Artura ahead of his role in the global reveal that takes place this Wednesday, February 17.

He had some other cool cars while in Renault, like an old-school Ferrari. He's also on the list for a Valkyrie, due to his previous employer Red-Bull.
Renault went from a Daniel to a Fernando.
He sells it so well, an infectious guy, I hope he gets some wins for Mclaren in F1.

Not really. Dan's not good on commentary, especially his own commentary, analysis and critique of his own driving when looking at his replays. Webber is a much better critique even when he was a driver.

McLaren has figured it out. Ferrari made a big mistake when they said "we're not interested in electric cars", cause the world is interested in electric cars. For $180k, this car, with this technology and this pedigree, is an absolute slam dunk. They've saved the supercar.

ferrari is about three years ahead when comes to electric and hybrid engines for road cars.
this comment does not want to be a 'troll' comment just to say that ferrari>mclaren, but just based on how they are engineering their cars and engines.
the fact ferrari is not pushing on a EV car in the way mclr is doing is just for remaining consistent with their brand.
mclr did a great job on this (I personally know two engineers who worked on this very car)
@@boyg6507 Yeah this isn't a knock against Ferrari in any way. If I'm looking for a V-12, I'm looking to Ferrari. I just think they might be rethinking that comment they made, now that we're a number of years on...
They only need to "defend", not make mistakes re build quality and production volume/dealer inventory & this car will be a huge hit - from what we know so far. Nice to see.

Of all the "Recent Mclarens" this is the best look'in car by far. Followed by the 720s. All we have 2 do n ok w is win tattslotto, order our car in the right color. ( love the press release color ) what ever that color was called ? Pick it up & go 4 a test drive with Daniel 👍. The drop ut of 2 Hennessey in the USA 4 SOME SERIOUS UPGRADES. @@binura you do know that the "future" is only here now because regulations have basically forced the manufacturers to go that way. If Mclaren and Ferrari were allowed to do what they want then there would not be any electric motors in these cars. It's not "the future" when it is being forced upon them by clueless government regulators. Also, there is a reason that brands like Ferrari are losing their popularity rapidly, people do not care about this cars anymore. They are appliances.

@@shubniggurath6464 yeah, and F1 engines have been horrible ever since they were forced to become V6. What is your point? No one likes the V6s in Formula 1 hence everyone lost their mind when Alonso drove the V10 in Abu Dhabi.
