    I'm happy whenever you post. I suspect your subscribers understand you have a day job. I'll just add that I've learned a lot from watching you. That's what I look for in a TH-cam channel: an opportunity to learn something. Thanks.

    Eric, I just wanted to say that I have enjoyed your channel so much. I have learned so much about dairy farming and have so much respect for the great job that you and your Dad are doing. I never realized how much hard work went into something that we all take for granted, milk production. It is so nice to see a young man working so hard to make a living and it is commendable. Please keep up the good work.

    Just a tip for you- when cleaning a radiator, or any kind of condenser, you don't want to blast it at 90 degrees with water, or air- you want to back-flush it, blow stuff out the way it came in. Otherwise, you're jamming it into the radiator and risk getting some stuck in it. Worst case, rinse it from the top at a shallow angle- blast the gunk off the surface rinsing top to bottom...best thing is to get a high-pressure air hose, come in from the back and blast it out the front...

    • @johnunsicker7440
      @johnunsicker7440 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes air is best and back blowing it is as well. Also the one thing that kills faster then anything is heat so power washing the engine and the inside helps and when you have a leak you can find it quickly.

    I grew up on a farm, but now own a snowplowing and landscape company in Wisconsin. We still farm about 3000 acres. Farmers are crazy hard working and industrious people, but now that I am slightly removed from the farm, I would just say, try to stay up on the maintenance. It will make your life easier in the long run. I also would not recommend using a zero degree rotating tip for your pressure washer when cleaning a skid. Those puppies can etch concrete. You were peeling some of the stickers off the machine. I would use a 15 or 30 degree tip instead. I love the videos, and it reminds me of how hard I used to work for not much money. Keep up the good work.

    I’ve got an L150 Newholland skid steer. I went with the Newholland model because it’s actually the lowest profile of its class. My old barn has low ceilings. Bought mine at a farm auction sale and got it for a good price. One thing about changing the fuel filters is no bleeding just put them on and start it up.

    The better you take care of the machinery the longer it last. It's farm equipment meant for hard dirty work yet keeping it clean is just as important. Catch 22.
