Thanks for the run up...connections etc. Waiting for a Rig Blaster via eBay complete with cables. I'm using a FT857D on low power with HRD. Just setting up. So appreciate the real-time unrehearsed set up. 73s W3PDR
Hey, thanks for great comment. The RigBlaster is a great interface. The only issue I had with the Advantage was with the premade internal jumper cables. They were picking up RF for some reason so I had to manually wire the jumpers and the problem went away. Maybe I just got a bad jumper? Not sure but wanted to pass that along in case you run into any issues. Other than that, enjoy, and if you have any questions- fire away. Thanks for watching and 73!
Cool video! Love seeing the Kenwood TS450 as I used to have one (solid rig), and of course, the autographed San Diego Chicken shot. Very spiffy shack, as well. You'll enjoy your setup this month for the RTTY contest...have fun and 73! de WX0V
Thanks a million! I just sent the 450 in to get re-capped and re-aligned. I figured after 30 years it was due. It's been a great little radio all these years. Take it easy, my friend es 73!
