      There are many stupid bugs that should have been fixed but S4D is by far the most disruptive one and it makes a lot of the maps in the game uncompetitive because only the handful of autists that wasted their lives perfecting abusing the bug stand a chance. It's baffling that you think Nadeo's incompetence it's worth defending

    It’s an actual thing that naturally talented sometimes tend to be bad coaches as they struggle to explain how to do certain things to others that come naturally to them.

    • @marchielli
      @marchielli 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      You're comparing apples to oranges. Naturally talented sportsmen rarely transform to talented coaches, because it's a completely different skillset. They've learnt how to do things, not how to teach other people to learn it, so it only makes sense. If Mudda was coaching on a regular basis and had enough of a vocabulary to put his idea into words - it would be a diff story. Coaches don't teach you how to kick the ball, they tell you which direction it should go and reason why, then it's up to you to execute. I, for instance, quite got what he meant there - you have to place the car parallel to the direction of the block, but probably should've said: Place your car perpendicular to the edge when jumping off the block i.e you have to reach the edge dead on.

    15:58 Imagine two curves on a 2d plan, the two track surfaces are curved. One curves outward and one curves inward. Overlap those curves as you see them on the track blocks. There is a point in the direct middle of those two curves where you want to be so your jump has no shakiness of the car on landing. You can even free block in the map editor to see exactly where that point is.

I know you Are wanting to diversify just from trackmania and you've already done it for me. Pretty much the only creator I watch where I don't play the game you broadcast. Simply for your personality. I'm super envious of your ability to connect with your audience. Just wanted to give you a sweet comment just saying keep being you and don't be afraid to branch out. 6:14 factual mistake - in TM1 if you get both single skidmarks on each side e.g. after sharp looping exit, your car automatically slides out around 530-537 kmh if you fully press turn, and iirc it's the same in TM2 and TM3 ^^
    Also, at 14:53, you have to learn your optimal approach by knowing the fullspeed basics, that being
    1) do speedslide, but
    2) don't slide
    3) as little airtime
    4) as few unclean transitions
    5) as much grip as possible (which translates to point 3)
    So in jump wallrides, if you go too high, for example considerably above the connecting point, your car loses grip, therefore less acceleration, cuz you pretty much reach a straight block but sideways. If you go too low on the other hand, you "crash" into the wallride, losing speed alongside airtime. Lastly, if you enter the wallride at a connection point, but for the exit you'd have to steer a lot, you will slide, hence lose speed. So the point in jump wallrides is steer as little, fly as little and crash as little as possible.
    - Drp

    Wirtual being coached by different people about different styles and surfaces reminds me Avatar the Last Airbender. Like, ice from Micka, then FS from Mudda. What's next?
