This is amazing! Perfect for an OEM+ setup. I've always wanted to connect my phone to my m3 and listen to music, although I didn't want to loose the look of my oem interior, and I never was a big fan of those aftermarket radios with the big screens running an android operating system. Plus, they're very expensive! This solves all my problems. Glad I came across this video before installing an aux.
Thanks for the video! Is there a list of instructions showing what each button on the head unit does? I just installed this and my buttons only do half of what yours are doing.
Nothing happens after I installed mine. Is there any troubleshooting I can do? I made sure all the cables were connected properly. Might try disconnecting my battery and then connecting it again to see if it works
I ordered mine thru Turner motorsports. Does it come with the phone cable? My car is pre-wired for phone. Turner never gave me the option? Can't wait. Mine is coming in on Friday.
You sir get a like for at least not pretending like every other youtubers trying to install something and edit the like I know in ahaha I need to get a bluebus already
@@VelEire_ The slave cable is only for the Sirius XM module, which the BlueBus can work in tandem with. As @Heidelaffe said, it is not possible to retain the CD Changer.
The raw unit cost is $120, give or take depending on batch size. Then you have to factor in programming them, assembling them into their enclosure, testing them, packing materials, shipping, customer support, software updates. I'm not getting rich, that's for sure :)
I am amazed how well it integrates with the 15+ year old Business CD radio. Thanks for posting !
I agree!
Was thinking the same damn thing

this is for sure the ultimate oem+ audio upgrade! I’m glad you found the video
Hey,
our car still had the multi cd changer- it was easy to locate the cable. Thanks for the vid
Big fan of the bluebus, I don't have one in my e46 yet, but I do have one in my e39 with nav and it integrates just as well with the nav screen.
it’s the best for stock radio integration!!
Can u make a video on how to install your subwoofer?
Super helpful, thank you
sooo helpful thank you

I think there’s some other video floating around out there that does a much better job at explaining what each button does
I have an 2001 e46 with the cassette player, does it work with the cassette player or only with the bmw bussines cd radio?
Hello , does this work for e36 1997 compact? Also great video!
Nothing happens after I installed mine. Is there any troubleshooting I can do? I made sure all the cables were connected properly. Might try disconnecting my battery and then connecting it again to see if it works
hey I would try reaching out to Ted himself. not sure if he has any contact information on his website, but is really active on nam3forum!
Any luck?
nice video ! can you send the link pls from the Bluebus?
But what if you have a convertible top

I ordered mine through the bluebus site and had to additionally click to add the phone option. yours may not come with it but regardless, enjoy!!

thank you man haha! yeah bluebus is pretty sweet
Great video!
What year is your car?
thank you! 02’
Bro whats the name of your wheels rims?
Hey you don’t need to do the phone option right I just want Bluetooth thinking about getting this for my E46
no you should be good with just the bluebus unit
What's your wheel setup ???
Would this work on the cassete radio with the cd shuttle in the back??
I’m not too sure! I would email ted
Did you remove the link from the description?
nope
does anyone know where to get a mic from?
got mine from the junkyard!
I don't see a link
My 2000 328ci doesn't have a mode button on the radio, just CD. Will this still work?
it should!
I installed mine, I cannot figure out how to change to Bluetooth. Ugh
Do you lose the functionality of the stock boot mounted cd stacker?
I’m not 100% sure on that since I don’t have the cd changer option, but I do believe that is still functional
It replaces the cd changer. But I don't really see the point in keeping the changer after installing BlueBus.
I believe you can retain it and run both with a slave cable
@@VelEire_ I have spoken to Ted, the guy who created BlueBus, it is not possible.

and if I have the 16:9 navi can i install it ?
yes
Expensive, but not as expensive as a new heads up unit. Website says products not even ready to ship until may 2021, that’s a bummer to wait.
it’s definitely a long wait but I’d say it’s worth it for sure
@@89. I ordered mine a very long time ago and still had to wait quite a bit. he makes them in big batches so that’s why there’s a big wait time
hi i am here 3 years later it's is still valid?
@@jenspeteraskov8651 yup still as valid as ever
Do you need to get the microphone?
yes
Will this only work with the factory OEM radio ?
I believe so
Link it maybe? Yeah that probably be a good idea
it’s in the description
Does it have caller ID?
I don’t believe so
What if you have a nav system??
this will still work for you
@@jinendow another question... where did you get the microphone? Have a part #?
@@MitchellTanMusic 84318380338
does it work for e46 with built in screens
Yes, and it works even better than the standard Business CD units. You get all sorts of goodies like coolant temperature, full blown menus, etc.
Is this compatible with the navigation unit?
yes
where is the link
in the description
@@jinendow no its not
@@sasukeuchiha4504 yes it is
@@jinendow it’s not
@@Fendi303 link I posted works for me 🤷♂️
What wheels are those?
apex arc-8
Is this only for bmws?
yes
And Mini Cooper R53/R53s and certain Range Rovers. :)
Sound quality good?
yeah it’s great! it’s better than the aux input I had before
215 dollars is a bit much!
it is a good amount, but I’d say it’s worth it if you want the best benefits for the oem radio
