At the end of the fight, during the cutscene, it loads a completely separate sub-area like a shrine that contains the actual dungeon. (I know that's basically what you meant but I felt like getting more specific)

Most likely Hyrule Castle because i think Death Mountain would have been more difficult with lava and such, and from where he started, Hyrule Castle would have been closer. But still. He traveled all the way to Hyrule Castle, got inside the castle, got out, and got back to Rito Village with a minecart while also having to avoid Lynels and Moblins and guardians oh my.
@@brandimullins8813 I think Death Mountain would be easier than the castle, because getting one of the two minecarts out of the castle would be pretty difficult. They're in the east and west passages, which are most easily accessed from the water or air, so to carry a minecart out you'd probably need to get it all the way up through the castle interior, down the road, and through the gate into the town before heading west. You could try some kind of Magnesis over the moat, but I don't know how deep it is, there's a good chance that you'd lose the cart, and I think the western banks of the moat are kinda steep because Hyrule Ridge is over there. You'd probably need to angle south to come up the Maw of Demise anyway, or else way up north. At that point it's less effort and less risk to find a cart in Eldin, like the one along the road above the town, and get it down the southern slopes without letting it fall too far away and despawn. Then you can just take the roads.
It's so sad that after all your hard work, Medoh wasn't even solid and you fell right through! Interesting video though, you've got that technique down
It's kinda understandable it wouldn't have collision, they didn't exactly expect us to tie balloons to a minecart over and over to make tiny airships. Frankly the fact that Medoh is textured on the top at all and with a moderate level of detail is rather intriguing, I'm not sure there is anywhere in Hyrule tall even enough to see the top of the divine beast while it's flying.
Theres no way the developers would have been able to predict someone having the tenacity to bring a cart all the way from hyrule castle or death mountain, only to painstakingly float their way up there for about 10-15 minutes.

It's probably because Medoh isn't rendered properly when you get up to it normally either, only when you get to it after destroying the shield
I really wish the developers made it able to atleast stand on Vah medoh, to reward players if they were crazy enough to make it up there.
