I'm not suggesting they go back to old Zelda mechanics (there's a reason so many people love BotW); it would just be cool to have a few full classic-style dungeons and boss battles.
I agree, but the Divine Beasts were designed with the non-linear nature of the game in mind. Reintroducing the traditional dungeon formula could feel restrictive and out of place, unless they find some sort of balance.

It's been so long since I've played Skyward Sword I don't even remember this temple. The only dungeons I remember are the first one, and the Past / Present Desert dungeon with that awesome boss battle. This looks incredible though.

Usually in most LoZ games, there's always at least one dungeon that I don't particularly look forward to doing as it might feel like a chore to get through, but with Skyward Sword, it's a rare occasion where I absolutely love each dungeon so much that sometimes I replay just to have another fresh start-to-finish with the Cistern/Sand Ship/Fire Sanctuary trio. Love this game since the beginning, never had any problems with it.

This is awesome! The earth temple was one of my favourites in Skyward Sword; I really hope they bring back elaborate and beautifully themed dungeons in BOTW 2!
I love this. You recreated a temple from my favorite game of all time (which I’ve finished 6 times already), it was even the first game I’ve ever played in my life, so I think the emotion I feel is doubled and adding pure, extreme nostalgia.
BoTW was my first Zelda game (and haven't played another) and i loved the shrine's puzzles and themes and every divine beast ... but man, now i definitely understand what all-time Zelda fans say about dungeons, this was by far OUTSTANDING, really hope BoTW2 has something like this in it.
this is so jarring i love it, it makes you realize how bright and vivid SS was compared to BOTW, and seeing this dungeon with the new mechanics is a little mesmerizing

I'm a huge fan of skyward sword. This is so well done i almost screamed. It was so well done that i couldn't believe what i was seeing. The only thing were the enemies as the original doesn't have guardians ans those fairy things. Putting firelight ganon was genuine since you cant use another mob to recreate that fire sphere from the game. I don't remember all of the earth temple but it sure was lots of fun and seeing this made me remember some details. I got confused because of the enemies. It was curious seeing sheika pillars rising from the lava instead of rocks xd

If the dungeons in BotW 2 looked like this, all nice and light and airy, I would love them. The only reason I wasn’t in love with the idea of dungeons is because of the repetitive puzzles and dark lighting. I didn’t think it would be this good looking. And I still love the older games and their dungeons, I just loves the shrines and divine beasts.

I think the fireblight fits there better due to his 'suck-in' move that's very similar to Scaldera's move. The other thing is; Neither Taluses nor Hinoxes are working right now. It's probably a NavMesh issue and we weren't able to figure out how to generate custom navmeshes yet.

Just like BOTW shrines and divine beasts, this dungeon has an overall proper use of the game mechanics : good level design, good puzzles, a clever use of items... HOWEVER, what this dungeon has that BOTW doesn't, is a unique atmosphere, different from the repetitive "shrine atmosphere". As a dungeon, it would also have a place in the game's progression and story, which would make it more impactful for the player. The two things this dungeon simply COULDN'T have fixed is the density of divine beasts/dungeons (how could we ask a modded dungeon to be longer?) and a unique and original boss battle (again, can't blame a mod for that). Long story short, this is a great outstanding mod!
