tonight is grey bc they went through a little phase back in the day of labelling slightly funky house tracks under the general edm label they had at the time, see also soulero's the world and french kiss by throttle on 010
20. bad 4 (also my #20 prob) 19. so disappointing 7.5 18. vibe 7 17. at times it sounds interesting, at times it just flops 4 16. screw you screw you screw you screw you screw you screw you 9 15. idk 6.25 14. oh god the mixing 5.75 13. zzzzz 5 12. what is wrong with you 9.25 (my #1) 11. ok this one's valid 6 10. I like this a lot 8.5 9. yeah quite different from what he does 7.5 8. really good 8.5 7. same but idk how much I'm interested 7.5 6. I appreciate this for what it is but it's not quite A Dream level 8.25 5. average for Eminence 7.25 4. SO GOOD 8.75 3. shoutout to 2012 PBN for being so consistent in production quality 8.5 2. the type of Complextro I'd have loved to see more of on the label in this era in general it's too good 9 1. same here but for Soulero it's still pretty tame 8.5 if I'm guessing right this is the first and only comp since 001 to not have a single EP/remix package track?
OK, here we go: [Progressive House/Hard House] MCS034: 102/100 Intro is already unique, progression is cool, and then we have buildup to even drops, which is simply perfect, same for the actual drops (all 4 of them). [Electro House] MCS035: 100/100 His debiut is sipmly phenomenal and flawless. [Tearout] MCS036: 101/100 In theory this transition between off-drops and buildup should be laughable, but it works. And the drop is ACTUALLY heavy, unlike what this label is accepting nowadays. [Brostep] MCS037: 104/100 Pre-drop sample is self-explanatory, lmao. Also penguin surfing on a flying cat (yes, that's the actual MV of it). [Uplifting Progressive Trance/Hardstyle] MCS038: 107/100 I'm a sucker for long tracks, and progression here is so good; "I wouldn't change a thing" - Kate Walsh [Neurostep] MCS039: 57/100 Basically Formless, but weaker. Don't get me wrong, this one is sea leagues away from modern Neurofunk, which is simply earrape (Jonth - WHAT for example). [Progressive House] MCS040: 90/100 Generic Progressive House, that's made well, what can I ask for? Also long buildups. [Bass House] MCS041: 109/100 Mindless Bass House banger. To be honest his best genres are Brostep and House, unfortunately his last Brostep was in 013, and he made only 2 Bass Houses (believe me or not, Rogue - Dynamite is the first Bass House on MC). [Jump-Up/TrAsHteP] MCS042: 108/100 lol [Drumstep] MCS043: 103/100 Day One is, alongside Bustre and Puppet, among the best artist on the label, this is no different. [Moombahcore] MCS044: 100/100 FIRE [House] MCS045: 101/100 Short, sweet House tune. Despite this MCS059 is better (why did Monstercat delete that masterpiece?). [Progressive House/Dubstep] N/a (no joke, the only this tune was catalogued is the album it was released on and BO2012): 110/100 This one just feels different. Not to mention that release of this music video was the 2nd installment to the channel lore (the first one was #OperationDethrone lmao). Too bad that it's probably the least viewed track of 2012. [Trap] MCS046: 97/100 Stupid song made by an artist who is a literal joke, what did you expect? Also Tw3rk Trap is always 100 BPM, this one is 135 BPM. Also also that mislabel is so bad, on NCS level of bad. [French Breaks] MCS047: 102/100 SmoothiesForMe = instant 90+/100. And the production is flawless. And yes, it is French Breaks; House has k k k k or k ks k ks type of beat, while this one has k s k s type of beat. And it's French, because it's kinda funky. [Big Room House] MCS048: 100/100 Yes, I find this to be better than the original. Somehow it doesn't bore me at all, despite being badly mixed piece of Big Room (I really dislike Big Room. TBH mainstrem Big Room is the most mainstream type of EDM, yet it deserves to be killed with fire). [Progressive House] MCS049: 91/100 Not really the best song ever, but it's solid anyway. [Complex Moombahtore] MCS050: 109/100 Literally This Is It improved in EVERY SINGLE WAY POSSIBLE. [Drumstep] MCS051: 101/100 I love this; this is so dope, that his remix of Stay Awake doesn't his as hard anymore :D [French House] MCS052: 0/100 Absolutely can't enjoy this one whatsoever. It should've been rejected and/or swapped with Run The Show, this album, alongside 006, could've been one of 2 MC albums that not a single track is 0/100, but hell no. Average: 94.6/100

@@Sevenri7742 003 had not a single EP released too.
@jakubn3809 you would indeed be correct!

Valid take but my only critique is placing BPM limitations on genres is stupid......sometimes
best - fire in the hole
worst - hasselhoff
imo this entire album had no bag songs
happy you enjoy it!
Nooooo
disagree with last 5 places.
