All of the people commenting that she’s young and doesn’t need it- Botox is also used preventatively so wrinkles and lines never form at all. I’ve been getting Botox for like 15 years and I have no lines whatsoever.
This can also do the opposite. My eye looks like this without Botox, due to Bell’s palsy, I get Botox to hold my eye open, and have a more symmetrical appearance. Also it is covered by insurance because the ptosis covers over half of my pupil.
I wouldn't admit to anyone that I had Botox which caused this. So, I might use makeup to give myself a black and blue eye and tell people I was in a car accident. Doc. said it will heal very slowly. Everyone would be rooting for my speedy recovery.
It happened to me the very first and only time I ever got Botox. The Dr. didn’t know how to help me. I researched it and found out about what drops help alleviate the ptosis effect, and told the doc, and he wrote me a prescription for it. It definitely helped, and the ptosis was mild on my one eyelid, not nearly as severe as the girl in this video. But the drops gave me awful dry mouth; the only side effect. I wanted the Botox for my 11 lines, frown lines. This was in 2013!
This happened to me. I used the drops mentioned to temporarily alleviate the effect but the drops wear off after about 12 hours. I was at an event when they wore off and someone remarked they had never seen me look so tired and was I ok. lol! Checked in the mirror when I got back to my hotel room and sure enough, ptosis back in full force.
I was born with this condition.. had to have surgery to try to make the one eyelid look normal also so I didn’t lose vision in that eye and go blind. Bullied for it saying I have a lazy eye when I do not. Luckily she only has it for half year. My mom said mine was from the doctors forceps to remove me. I was dying and they had to pull me out forcefully. Left a mark on the same eye and eye lid.
What do you do if you have ptosis naturally? I have mine from an injury, I thought injections would help but after doing my research and seeing how it could make it worse, I opted against it.
For all the naysayers saying she’s too young to get Botox, I used to get Botox done in my forehead for migraines in my 20s. Even though I wasn’t getting it done for aesthetic reasons, I loved the changes it made to my appearance. It really made me look younger and I could see differences that would be worth it. Plus I still looked like me just a slightly better me. For such little risk, time spent, and invasiveness, it was amazing. If I had unlimited funds, I 100% would’ve continued using it.

Then he put me on steroids and in a day and a hslf everything cleared up. I think it was all the result of getting Botox and then 4 weeks later getting the Covid vax. The problem started 3 days after the vax. Oh, and my blood test for MG came up negative, but the doctor believed I had the disease anyway.

All of the people commenting that she’s young and doesn’t need it- Botox is also used preventatively so wrinkles and lines never form at all. I’ve been getting Botox for like 15 years and I have no lines whatsoever.
Nice 🎉
You are still risking problems like this. Some can be permanent.
I'm wondering if there are any side effects to long-term use of neurotoxins?
This can also do the opposite. My eye looks like this without Botox, due to Bell’s palsy, I get Botox to hold my eye open, and have a more symmetrical appearance. Also it is covered by insurance because the ptosis covers over half of my pupil.
It’s not just the eye. The eye brow can become permanently messed up on one side, or even take years to go back to the regular motion.
What is happening in this world is so crazy ..
Someone getting botox is crazy? Wait until you learn what's going on in Gaza 🙄
Am So Confused As You Are Dear.
If you see this, you are beautiful. You are fearfully and wonderfully made. Never forget that 🌹
She looks so happy about it. Probably thinking oo there’s a viral video in this 😂
Didn't Katie Perry have this go on during a concert??
No, she was pretending to be a malfunctioning robot.
RIGHT!!! this would explain a lot
🤣🤣🤣🤣oh you guys...♥️♥️
Was looking for this comment - that explains it
@thehealingfairee yeah like some artist who thinks they are badass and psycho, weird etc 😂
Why people cant leave their face alone
Tell that to societal standards and how they judge everyone
There are people who have no problems and create themselves.
I wouldn't admit to anyone that I had Botox which caused this. So, I might use makeup to give myself a black and blue eye and tell people I was in a car accident. Doc. said it will heal very slowly. Everyone would be rooting for my speedy recovery.
This happened to me on both sides and I am never trying it again. My forehead was crystal smooth but my eyelids collapsed.
she won the doe eye vs siren eye😭
Thank you for the medical information, Dr. Gary!
Three to six months?! Sheesh.😅
Guess it's shades everywhere. 😎
These younger people don't need botox Sheesh!!😮
It happened to me the very first and only time I ever got Botox. The Dr. didn’t know how to help me. I researched it and found out about what drops help alleviate the ptosis effect, and told the doc, and he wrote me a prescription for it. It definitely helped, and the ptosis was mild on my one eyelid, not nearly as severe as the girl in this video. But the drops gave me awful dry mouth; the only side effect. I wanted the Botox for my 11 lines, frown lines. This was in 2013!
Too many people in this comment thread posting that she didn't "need" botox. Like, okay, tell me though... who *needs* botox?
Ppl with some medical conditions where botox may help them? Like some types of migrenes? 🤷🏻♀️
People with bad wrinkles
@@missstorrmand some gastric problems where they directly inject the esophagus during and EGD
@@missstorrmi get botox for chronic migraines. Helps me sooo much
This happened to me from the masseter injections and I couldn’t smile on one side for two months
3-6 months of that? absolutely not
This happened to me.
Everyone needs to stop getting Botox, fillers, & just any type of plastic surgery- it’s incredibly unnecessary
Only for sick people and accident victims aesthetic surgery.
Agree imo it looks awful and it has to not be so healthy to do
Fred Flintstone used toothpicks to hold his eyes up.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Oh man, I'd be making weird faces and walking funny as well while in public. 😂
Why any doctor would agree too do botox on somebody so young is beyond me and should be illegal unless there is some serious need
That's one of the only smart reasons.
I bet she was doing it for aesthetic reasons
The naysayers are entitled to their opinion. This isn't about you.😂
@@slbarbieri1725it’s actually just numbing out the problem instead of addressing the root of whatever was causing the migraines btw, but yeah better than purely for vanity’s sake for sure
Yes I get botox for my lovely migraine issue...
wouldn’t the muscle however become atrophied and lose elasticity from being inactive for so long ?
The before and after.
This happened to me in 202. A doctor was convinced I had myasthenia gravis and put me on some kind of heavy medication (can't remember what it was) for three weeks with no results.
Yes this was happening to people who took the vax. Looks like your doctor is experimenting on you with the pharmaceuticals. Be careful.
If she feels insecure or ugly then she needs to fix her inside, not her face. She’s no Angelina Jolie but she looks good naturally. It’s a waste of money and ruining her own face to avoid the inevitable is silly. People need to realize that these procedures are more harmful than good. The good part doesn’t last forever and the harmful part will stay for life until it kills you. The bottom line is if you can’t be happy with yourself no one will.
Angelina Jolie had a ton of plastic surgeries to look like Angelina Jolie. Look for Lorry Hill's video on Angelina Jolie.
She looks better than Angelina Jolie
@@Nimmie111 I guess she should have the title “the most beautiful woman in the world “ like Angelina did. That’s even a better reason why she shouldn’t need to have cosmetic procedures done.
You know Angelina had work done at a young age to get to that face, right? She was attractive before but average looking. She had very good work done and got the face that we all see today.
I'm 44 and still have no wrinkles. Why are really young people getting botox??!! I won't even get it when i do have wrinkles
Such a smart doc.
You’re saying she’s gonna be stuck like that for 3-6 months??
Can we talk about her upper lip and its unusual movent while smiling??
Jepp accurate...looks like a complete unusual way of movement above her upper lip 😮😮😮
she got botox in the muscles in the lip corners that pull the lip down, so only the muscles that pull the lip up are active...yes it looks weird...the injector was having a bad day apparently
i could be wrong but i thought she was doing a silly sarcastic smile. like hehe am i lookin pretty now?
Joker smile. Something about Batman movie in the 80's was telling me that poison was going to be coming through the beauty products, making faces weird...and here we are.
I don't or won't use botox or fillers. I would rather take great care of myself. We age but gracefully is the best or if needed, get a facelift and necklift.
same...38 here and starting to have a small wrinkle around the left eye...i'm scared of finding someone who can't inject well or is having an off day like the one who injected this girl
What a great idea. She looks so much better now. Nothing an eye patch can’t fix!😂
Or sunglasses at night. "l wear my sunglasses every night"
she'd look really good with an eye patch
People in the comments asking "then why she smiling"? She is all smiles because she is getting attention, doesn't matter if its bad, its still attention shes getting 😂
That's what it's all about, the attention and love of other people
Honestly....I didn't know which eye was the messed up one.
One is definitely drooping, but the other is WIDE open....🙀
It is clear that it is the drop one, no eyes look normal when their eyes is far from eyelid. It is really normal when you are tired or sleepy.
I knew someone who actually got botulism from Botox. It was bad, she was really sick for like two weeks!
People keep asking she’s too young to get Botox and I used to think the same but my wife is in her mid 20’s and told me she wants it because it prevents wrinkles in the long run. I’m not sure how true that is but I’ve heard it from other people as well
Or not get botox, lol
I got the botox lateral, and I couldn't smile for 6 months. Turns out the muscles you use to raise the corners of your mouth go all the way up to there. This happened 3 times in a row so I couldn't smile for 1,5 years. I'm looking for a different doctor now.
It's INSANE a girl this young felt the need to put botox on her face. I hope she learned her lesson.
VANITY ALL IS VANITY!
Why she is smiling😮
you want her to cry 6 months straight till it wears off?
If the injector isn’t skilled, it can happen. Signed, a skilled injector!
This reason I only do natural enhancement. Botox, surgeries is only last resort when nothing else work.
I had head drooping once. I had to use my hands to put my head back up. It wasn’t painful. It was just a little bit aggravating.
That’s a long time to have these effects last. I’m 32 and haven’t had botox and have no wrinkles or white hair. She’s younger than me and therefore doesn’t need it. I have good genetics
You will age eventually and probably change your tune later
Why in the world did she think she needed Botox? She’s beautiful. Goodness gracious 😮
Por qué los que te inyectan te dicen que previenes arrugarte más pronto de lo normal🙄solo por que quieren tu dinero
What do you expect can happen when you are literally injecting poison into yourself. Im good with my wrinkled forehead.
You're born with the body you get. Just be happy. Stop worrying about how others see you.
This happens when you are in the hands of an un-skilled injector. Getting my Botox done in a couple of days by a Double Board Cosmetic Surgeon! Thanks for the information Dr. Linkov. 🎉
It’s always a risk no matter how skilled the doctor is.
@@JCX-9 FACTS 🗣roughly 2% of people who get neuromodulators experience ptosis when an UN-SKILLED individuals administers them. The chance decreases to 1% when a SKILLED medical provider performs the injections.
The GOAL is to REDUCE ptosis from happening! 🎉Find someone else to argue with!
@@joannawoods6563 let’s face it skilled or not your face will droop eventually from these procedures and you know it that’s why you get triggered.
Take your facts and put them in the bank, you can read them later when you face goes south 😂.
@@JCX-9 … We will ALL die one day - Therefore, eat foods high in fats, sodium, don’t exercise, stress, don’t pray, live above your means and as a result decrease the longevity of your life. That is the level of your logic and education. Stay like that! 🎉
It can happen to the best of skilled doctors as well. I remember Mercedes Ruehl talking about the first time she got Botox by a board certified plastic surgeon and her eyes BOTH drooped lol. She told it really funny but she decided to not get it any more after that. Maybe she changed her mind later but that story has stuck in my head ever since.
This is similar to that time I forgot to put sunscreen on during a ski strip, half my face was dark. Lasted 6 months….
That’s what happens when you’re vain 😢 why put poison in your face?😢
This happened to me!! But my botox was four months prior and ophthalmologist told me it wasn't the cause, just bad luck. Did resolve within 3 weeks after i was advised it would be permanent and would require repair procedure. So happy it resolved on its' own. I looked goofy as heck lol
Just reaffirmed my stance on not shooting plastic into my face.
An acquaintance of mine had it, also her left eyelid but not this drastic just a subtle droop like a nervous tick or something. Made her look super weird and I didn’t want to bring it up in conversation so I never let her know that I know 😅
I got brow ptsosis my first time, reputable derm injector at a drs office. Took a year for it to be normal on one side. I got muscle atrophy on that side and am still dealing with brow pain tbh
Just imagine if this happened to both of her eyes.
To prevent is also to follow the guidelines for aftercare
what is worse? Inevitable wrinkles and aging or some rare side effect that could be permanent?
This happened to me and I even used the darn drops, which made me look even crazier. I was so angry. I looked like this for 6 months. I even told the lady injecting that I thought she was not doing it correctly.
At least you aren’t born with it like me. 🙄
How about eating healthy, staying properly hydrated, herbal detoxing once a quarter for a few days, and a great natural self care routine?
That is why I only get this at my plastic surgeon’s office and never by someone in a cosmetology/beauty industry that does it for some discount
Is it really worth the risk of being disfigured?
I had a friend who got that done and one eye was stuck open really far and the other one was like that. He looked like a monster, literally.😢
I had this happen , the drops worked to reverse it .. phew it was very disconcerting ! 😢 but will not stop me from using a different specialist !
My worse botox nightmare
😅recently happened to a famous tv personality here in italy😂 she didn't even know how to lie about it,when she was asked what happened, she said "it must be cold air" it was spring,so it wasn't that much cold
