  • Five climbers from the TNF athlete team headed to India’s Baspa Valley in search of adventure, big wall climbing and a new perspective on exploration. See more outdoor stories: www.thenorthface.com/approach
    First suggested as an expedition destination by the late Hansjörg Auer, the team to finally head to North West India evolved, with Matty Hong joining Jacopo Larcher, Siebe Vanhee and the Pou brothers to make the trip.

    Thank you so much for sharing your incredible adventures w/us. I Am pretty much always in my hospital bed...sadly....in 2002...I tried to rescue a group of kids from a pedophile sect and I had absolutely no idea that these pedo' sects are well organized & have members in very high places as well as in medicine. 3 kids killed....I've survived multiple attempts on my life & they have me isolated in Oklahoma from being able to reach good Medical intervention. So I Am dying....my once beautiful athletic body I was so active in life....took very good care of my body...and now...it is too destroyed can't even mow my yard. Watching these videos-docu's....they are getting to steal from Me seeing beautiful places & people all over the world...that's brings great tears of Joy & Happiness to My Heart & Soul....much gratitude for being unselfish & share w/us all. Namaste

    Wouldn't want to take away from the grace and beauty of the video but I would love if somewhere in the description, there would be a guide to everything they are wearing. Not saying to make it shoppable, more so for those of us that really care about the "functional fashion" aspect of what it takes to do things like this.

      FWIW go to www.thenorthface.com/featured/summit-series.html and they're probably wearing the newest summit series stuff. I've been rocking summit series for years now and it's my favorite gear hands down.

    How are there only 9 comments?! (10 including this one)

    • @jomeljames2567
      @jomeljames2567 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The right question would be why only so few comments and not how. It's an easy task for a computer geek. Been wondering about this for quite long and still can't think of any reason as to why someone would do this.

    • @franhgho
      @franhgho 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @Incomplete6230 so...the wall's bolted but nobody went to the top before?! Hard to believe. Who are you anyway?! :D

    • @jakewaxman9050
      @jakewaxman9050 4 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      People bolt futuristic lines all the time by rapping in and developing a route (cleaning, bolting, etc.). Sometimes they bolt for themselves and can’t make the FA and it remains unclimbed until someone does. Other times developers develop routes for the general public. For routes of this caliber, it’s often the former. That being said, this route isn’t bolted. They are placing protection themselves.

    • @Migguls611
      @Migguls611 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      So when setting routes you may be able to do all the moves individually with rest on each bolt but to classify as a first ascent if im correct you have to go from bottom to top in one attempt no falls no assisted rests
