Stoked to have been able to put this story together, thank you TNF! No matter how many times I’ve watched it, I still have NO CLUE how Kaytlyn and Jenny did it and made it look easy. This feat is BONKERS. 🤯. (FYI - Director's Cut coming Summer 2023!)
Another master piece film by TheGingerRunner! I was amazed by what Kaytlyn and Jenny achieved but even more so by seeing the scenery and profound beauty of nature they moved in. Thank you for letting us being a part of this by producing this amazing movie. We are such tiny speckles in this breathtaking space called world. “Everything in nature invites us constantly to be what we are.”
I have done the northern section of this route linking the Redoubt High Route and the Pickets Traverse. It is bonkers difficult. It took us two weeks to complete. I would agree that the camp at Luna Col is the most beautiful place that I ever camped. My God, what a place.
this film is so amazing and inspiring. But the biggest WOW to me - beside the performance of the two is the effortlessness and happiness they spread!!!! Thank you a lot for sharing this adventure with us
Amazing landscape Kaytlyn and Jenny traversed. Unfathomable what they accomplished, watching the video was breathtaking. Ok excited for a longer version of this. It felt like a teaser and needs to be a full length film. Well done ladies, Ginger Runner and The North Face.
My goodness these two are such an inspiration. The positive attitudes amidst not so great conditions, the complete confidence in each other, the JOY they have in the outdoors, wow!
This is awesome! You just ran through the coolest places in WA state in 7 days. Made us homesick for the North Cascades. Enjoyed watching so much, even reading the Resources page at the end. Nice work and inspiring!
The terrain and the partnership and the epic adventure all were stories of their own, full on joy tears at the end of this. I’ve felt this partnership with very few people and it is something to be treasured
Amazing all the way around from Kaytlyn and Jenny accomplishing this amazing athletic adventure to the way the story was told in the film. Thank you to everyone!
Intensely beautiful and mind boggling! I shared this with a thru hiker/climber friend. She commented " My primary complaint: it wasn't long enough! I'd have gladly watched a full length movie about this route!!!! So incredible". I 100% agree.
WOW!! Such incredible badassery by two amazing women! I am inspired by you both, in awe of the stunning challenge you crushed and the beauty of the back country of my home state. Thank you for sharing this with us and congratulations!! 🥳🔥🙌
This was very inspiring. I hope the North Face continues to support women with this much determination, grit and skill. As someone who lives in the Cascades….this is a daunting task! Amazing work!!
Incredible! I was totally in awe, inspired, and mesmerized the entire viewing of this video! Such an amazing adventure! Thanks for sharing and for being examples to the rest of us! 🙌🏻
This is so cool. I am so impressed. You girls are inspiring. And humbling. My whole mood has been elevated. I subscribed after watching this. "The last people who did this took them a month. And then they died the next day. So we are gonna do it in a week." What balls.
Truly wild! What a great story. love how there were challenges gnarly feats to overcome, but also made it look like a lot of it was a ton of fun in the process.
This is absolutely insane I didn’t even know projects like this were a thought in people’s minds, major cudos to these women. They’re mental and technical capacity is otherworldly.
I got teary-eyed watching this knowing both kaytlyn and jenny (and their HUGE hearts)! they are not only some of the most top-class athletes but truly genuine human. ahhh! LOVED this. AMAZING job ladies! so stoked for you!
Great eye! These packs were modified specifically for our athletes using the Verto 27 Backpack modified with the hip belt and front strap storage from our Summit Run Training Pack 12!
Truly incredible. It's an amazing accomplishment and what I'm so impressed with is how they both spent a whole week doing long days that are both physically and mentally draining, with little sleep, and they still maintained such positive and playful attitudes.
What an amazing endurance athletes. I did a 3 hour hike in Switzerland on the Pitzol Mountain and that was quite challenging as well. (For me) I literally don’t understand how can be you have such an outstanding endurance and mental toughness to do such things. I’m amazed
guys, (girls) thanks for this great video. I know (sort of) the dangers of this place..it's absolutely remote. I had a terrible accident on twin sister back in 1980, soloing and fell off, skull broken, lost my toes. it's so easy to get hurt even when you're young and crazy. thanks for suceeding. Cheers to all bellinghamsters God bless DG
What bag is she using? It looks like a verto 27 but has the running vest front straps, is it some custom/prototype setup? I would love something like that
Great eye! These packs were modified specifically for our athletes using the Verto 27 Backpack modified with the hip belt and front strap storage from our Summit Run Training Pack 12! Both great options for your next adventure.
@TheNorthFace Did they use the same pair of shoes for all the terrain? Also i'm seeing krampons on trail running shoes, I didn't know that was a feasible thing to do, what's that setup? Thanks!
We were camped at the Dome/Dana col when Jenny and Kaytlyn cruised by with the boys. I am still trying to understand how fast they were moving through. And in high spirits. Totally crazy.
"Girl time" this ain't!!! Love it. Wait, how much did the permits cost? I had a long, grueling run this morning which also means I'm getting sentimental...This is all so beautiful! (sobs). Sadly, almost too beautiful and untouched for a race...

Ultraneering!! Love it. So very well done all. A true magnum opus!
Incredible work all around. Probably the coolest mountain/run project ever.

Brilliant production this, really enjoyed it. Congrats from UK 🇬🇧 👏 👍

Amazing all the way around from Kaytlyn and Jenny accomplishing this amazing athletic adventure to the way the story was told in the film. Thank you to everyone!
Simply stunning, and I'm talking much more about their badassery than the fabulous vistas and stout editing.

In awe. Amazing well planned epic journey. A dream route with so much to challenge the best of the best. Well done ladies.
Great job great fantastic. Wonderful, you’re amazing. What a beautiful scenery. Camera photograph trip.
INCREDIBLE!! So impressive! I’m plan on heading up there this summer and checking some of that route out 🤗 😍
What pack is Kaytlyn using at 3:41? It looks like a verto with a running harness. Where can I find more information on it?
North Face Phantom 38 it looks like. I just ordered one haha
i'm fairly certain they are custom made by attaching the running pack shoulder straps to a verto. badass
Great eye! These packs were modified specifically for our athletes using the Verto 27 Backpack modified with the hip belt and front strap storage from our Summit Run Training Pack 12!
@@TheNorthFace I would love to see this produced.

Dream route. Always on my mind.
Absolute top notch film by Ethan. And hats off to Kaytlyn and Jenny.
Anyone know what shoes Kaytlyn was wearing?
Those are the Flight Vectiv Guard Futurelight trail running shoes.
It is a very interesting story telling of a journey.

The elevation gain over such a short period is insane! I need a rest day after 3000 feet :)
Unbeleeeve vid. Thanks Ethan, TNF, and K and J!!! Did you both even get tired????
We were camped at the Dome/Dana col when Jenny and Kaytlyn cruised by with the boys. I am still trying to understand how fast they were moving through. And in high spirits. Totally crazy.

Just amazing 😍😍
Awesome ladies…
beautiful!
Wow, I'm just getting into this world and that was one amazing trip. The only problem was the video was too short.
"Girl time" this ain't!!! Love it. Wait, how much did the permits cost? I had a long, grueling run this morning which also means I'm getting sentimental...This is all so beautiful! (sobs). Sadly, almost too beautiful and untouched for a race...
Incredible!
Amazing scenery and super inspiring. And yet…my one take away was: wait, they make peach gummies?
Super cool, what an effort! An hour would have done it more justice!
4:58 just wow :)
