- This is a rip from the original VHS tape I bought from the Al Di Meola website a long time ago. Since this is out-of-print, I figured everyone should have the right to see this great concert from the "Orange And Blue" tour.
I don't even know the exact date of the show cause there is no info on the box.... I assume it's from 1994 cause I saw a few clips from this performance uploaded on then band members' TH-cam channels and they wrote 1994. If anybody has more info, it would be cool!
Audio and video are a little out of sync at times (not very often and always from the same camera angle). It's just the way it came out on the original VHS. It's not because of a bad rip. Only bad video editing...

Saw this tour in Tulsa. Finally got to take my mom to one of his concerts after making her hear about him for so many years. An awesome show!

I loved that tour. Finally got to take my mom and sister to see my hero, Al. It was in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and he got there late because of a blizzard back east. Rushed in from the airport. That band was so tight. Orange and Blue sent shivers down my spine.

That was a signature model that Gibson never put on the market.

Cool, haven't listened to this for a few years and it sounds totally different to me now. In some ways it reminds me of some of the old Metheny Group work, anyway stunning stuff
i got this album when it first came out and this video is just awesome. u have the passion of his earlier days combined with lovely compositions. we need more of this al!!

bercé depuis tout petit par sa musique , je n'ai jamais compris l'avalanche de critiques le concernant...il serait trop véloce,trop mécanique...etc...trop ceci trop cela;;;tout y passe qd les gens sont de mauvaise foi...ont ils jamais écouté un seul de ses albums...? il est virtuose c'est un fait et pour reprendre ses propres termes "qd tu joues de la guitare tu dois jouer comme un homme" il n'est jamais à débouler à tous les étages de manière compulsive comme savent le faire la plupart des gratteux actuels qui se disent virtuoses et qui ne savent faire que ça...al joue sa propre musique et toujours dans l'esprit du groupe...
il y a peu je suis tombé par hasard sur un live "palladium 78"...quel bonheur...

Hello! The name of the first song is Paradiso. It's from the "Orange And Blue" CD.
Does anybody know if there's a live version of "The Embrace" from the Kiss my Axe tour?
Yes, there's a live version of that piece on the "Live At The Palladium" video. It was available from Al's website a long time ago on VHS (I bought it back then along with this show from Denver). It was later released on Laserdisc in Japan but it's probably out of print.

picabobacip Thanks man! I'm watching it right now. I love that album, especially that piece. I also would looove to see live footage of Cielo e Terra material (I've seen Cielo e Terra) but that's extremely rare.

Jeff Reynolds That is a Gibson Super 400. The acoustic is an Ovation.
***** I think it's Gibson Johnny Smith, super 400 has different neck.
