Caro Afonso Luiz, acho que não há ainda, no dicionário, uma palavra para descrever a perfeição do som que sai do violão do Al Di Meola. É simplesmente incrível!!! Mais que isso!!! Harmonia sofisticada, do jazz fusion, belas melodias, velocidade incrível, notas limpas ao extremo, violões flamencos, etc, tudo é mágico no som do Meola. Simplesmente incrível!! Sou fã e estou esperando uma oportunidade para vê-lo tocar ao vivo.
I really find myself a decent musician, 35 something years from where i started, checking out Under Pressure's baseline on a guitar i found in the gutters. Literally. Today theres nothing in blues, rock or metal i cannot put on the strings and i'm definetly proud i made it this far. ! B UT ! Stuff like above seem to me like a'daaamn a'lot of bloody trainings lol.. like spending another 35y on concert guitar to come close this dude

Short Tales From The Black Forest!! About 25m in...Pretty decent recording for a live setting from mics and pickups in "real" guitars. But I'm not loving the distorted synthy sounds so much. In the 70s & 80s we endured the dry, brittle piezo pickup sounds of Ovations but it was the latest technology. That's what Al used to play - Ovations.
Fabulous! Is this performance available on DVD? I have 4 Di Meola DVDs and 24 CDs. I absolutely LOVE his style & flawless execution. Again, is this performance available on DVD? Thanks.
A commercially available DVD has not been released.
