    The assessments are hard to swallow, BUT waking up to the glorious sunrises and fall8ng asleep to the sounds of the ocean are way better than snow.😊

    No thanks. I bought a beachfront home in Costa Rica, for about half the cost of a similar home in Florida. Not to mention lower costs and expenses! Florida is a nice place to visit, I wouldn't buy a house or condo there!

      Wow, congratulations on your new beachfront home in Costa Rica! That sounds like a fantastic deal, and it's great to hear about the benefits of lower costs and expenses there. Indeed, every place has its unique advantages, and it's all about finding the right fit for one's needs and budget. While Florida's real estate market can be higher in comparison, it offers its own set of attractions and benefits. But I completely understand and respect your decision. Would love to hear more about your experiences and any tips you might have for those considering Costa Rica as a living option. Thanks for sharing your perspective, and I hope you continue to enjoy your beautiful home!

    The New Yorkers brought down the high condo concept to Florida...

    • @VeronicaEdwards50
      @VeronicaEdwards50  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Interesting point! The influx of residents from New York and other states has indeed played a significant role in shaping the condo market in Florida. This movement has introduced new demands and expectations, influencing both the design and the concept of condo living in the state. It's a testament to how cultural and demographic shifts can impact local real estate markets and community structures. I appreciate your insight on this and think it's a fascinating topic that deserves further exploration. Let's continue to discuss how these changes are shaping the future of living spaces in Florida. Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts!

    The older the condo, the more you going to pay just to keep it. The price of insurance, the cost of maintenance is going to make your investment look like a money pit.

    • @VeronicaEdwards50
      @VeronicaEdwards50  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You've raised a very valid point about the challenges of owning an older condo. Indeed, as buildings age, they often require more maintenance, which can lead to higher costs for owners. Insurance rates can also reflect this increased risk. It's crucial for potential condo buyers to consider these factors and conduct thorough due diligence before making a purchase. Assessing the building's maintenance history, understanding the health of its reserve fund, and considering future repair and maintenance needs are all key steps in making an informed decision. Your comment highlights the importance of looking beyond the initial price tag and evaluating the total cost of ownership. I think this topic deserves a deeper dive in a future video to help buyers navigate these complex considerations. Thanks for bringing this up and contributing to a more informed discussion on condo ownership!

    I would ONLY do a two story unit...

      I know others feel the same way. I have a friend now looking to purchase a condo as an investment and they are only looking at two stories!

      Good mentality ...instead of having big buildings to accommodate many people on the cheap, you still love to sprawl. Even when you have reached the limit, you still want to live in a cardboard house or a two story units and pay millions for it 🤣👍

    More than anything else, you have to "buy into" the lifestyle..

    • @VeronicaEdwards50
      @VeronicaEdwards50  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yep! That is correct that is what most people are buying into, it is the lifestyle 🌟

      @@VeronicaEdwards50 Oakland is a wonderful city of diversity and a great democrat mayor. I bought extra shoes to deal with all the poop on the street and am looking forward to the free needle exchange. Also, I can break into as many cars as I want as the police won't arrest me. If I need anything I can steal up to $950 and won't be arrested. Life is GOOD in Biden America.

      Thanks for sharing your preference! Choosing a place to call home is deeply personal, and what works for one person might not suit another. While condos offer benefits like maintenance, amenities, and community living, they're not for everyone. A more traditional, detached home can offer privacy, space, and a sense of freedom that many people value. It's all about finding the right fit for your lifestyle and needs. I appreciate your input. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment!
